The jalapeño spicy tuna appetizer was really good but not worth $8. I ordered 3 rolls and my girlfriend ordered the fish hibachi. Her food came out at least 10 minutes before mine. The hibachi was decent and a large portion of food and the rolls were good. That said, with all the great sushi options in the DM area this place needs to step up its service a lot. I would maybe get some rolls to go sometime but I’m not sure I’d dine in again.

Ordered “To Go” for 4/28 @ 6:30pm, arrived slightly before the food was ready. We ordered two hibachi entrees, medium rare steak and salmon. The steak was fully well done, grey all the way through and completely ruined, the salmon was overcooked as well and extremely dry. Neither meat had a decent sear and were flavorless. Whomever is running the hibachi needs to be retrained.

Food was excellent! Very fresh, tasty, and great service. Loved the rice, snappy steamed veggies, salad, and soup. First timer and had crab rangoons (called Kani Cheese here), hibachi chicken, and hibachi steak.

Came in for lunch today and had the steak hibachi, which was very good! They also had great gumbo, which is an off the menu item that is definitely worth getting a bowl of!

Went here for lunch and was blown away! I got a bento box lunch and it came with a salad that has incredible homemade dressing (and I usually hate salad, but this was so good)! The bento box itself was so great and had a wide variety of authentic food. Will definitely be coming back!

Great new welcoming addition to Clive/Waukee/West Des Moines/Urbandale suburb. Even though the restaurant is located in Clive, it is literally within a mile from Waukee, West Des Moines and Urbandale. Went for dinner with my family and everyone loved their food. We had hibachi chicken dinner, veggie noodles and Ayumi sushi rolls and everything was delicious. Their teriyaki/hibachi sauce, homemade yummy dipping sauce, ginger dressing for salad are the best we have ever had. Run by co-owner couple, wife taking care of customers at the dinning area and head chef, husband preparing mouth watering dishes back in the kitchen. I like that we could order over phone and use their drive-thru to pickup. They also deliver food through 3rd party service, mytown2go. Highly recommend them and would definitely visit them quite often.

The habachi scallops were very good, unfortunately the vegetable tempura was not so good. Definitely willing to keep giving them a try until they get estabilished. 🙂 Nice to have something different in the area.

Tried a larger order with a big group. No one was impressed. Tried to give them a second shot with a single order because I’m dying to find a good take-out sushi place. Much worse, threw most away, and ended up getting sick.
