This place is fantastic! My 1st time trying this place and I was wowed. The food is amazing and so is the service. The waiter told us this has been in Atlanta since 1968! That’s crazy! It is also a bit on the pricey side, so be prepared. I would recommend coming with family or a date. Very quaint. My only complaint is the parking. You have to pay $5 to have valet park your car. Not so great. But other than that I would say come see this historic, iconic and authentic Italian restaurant.

Okay so… starting off with the atmosphere the outside is small but the inside is beautiful. We sat in the outdoor seating area and the temperature was just right, the table settings were perfect, and the lighting was cozy! Their wine selection is simple but still vast which I appreciate. The pricing is affordable and the service is quick and efficient but not at all personable so don’t expect any banter. The Caesar salads were excellent, the Zuppa pasta was delicious, but the special which was a “rack” of lamb was awful. The sauce the lamb was prepared in had a weird smell and the taste was like bitter wine. And you are receiving nowhere close to a rack it is literally two pieces so don’t expect a rack. I let them know I didn’t care for the dish and I ordered a different plate and I still had to pay for half of the dish that was sent back… working in the restaurant industry I know the level of customer care that should be provided and this place just was not up to par. I would suggest it for dining alone for a quick lunch but not a romantic or family centered evening.

Enjoy it while it still exists. Developer city encroaching all around, building high rise vs that strips the community of any and all personality. Enjoy the gems while they still are in business. The simpler dishes are the most authentic and tasty. The more fancy the less I like them.

This place was worth every Penny with the most authentic Italian food! It was fresh, and made from scratch. The best part was the service from the staff! My server made sure we were well taken care of! I will catch a flight just to eat here again! Thank you so much! I posted to food on my Instagram page @Haitianf00die.

The food was a tad pricey but worth every penny if not more. This is the real deal Italian food, I’ve tried so many places and Nino’s was phenomenal, even getting it as delivery! Leftovers were great too! (I neverrrr eat leftovers, ever.) this was just too good and tasted amazing even on the second day. I’m going to visit in person now for that experience and I’m sure it will be just as fantastic.

Small Italian restaurant, very dark, reminded me of old school place. Our waiter was very nice and had a funny Italian accent. Table bread was good, the grilled Caesar salad looked good, wish I would have got one. I ordered Zuppe Di Pesce which has sauteed shrimp, scallops, baby clams, mussels, and grouper, in a light posillipo sauce. Was really good especially after everything was gone sopping up the remaining broth with the bread. Not your typical Italian menu more authentic, very different than a chain like Olive Garden. You can also order off menu, there was no fettuccine alfredo on the menu but someone at our table ordered it and said it was great.

We had a terrific dinner here! Nino’s has a cozy, old school ambience and they make you feel welcome right off the bat. The food was excellent – the Pappardelle Verde and the Vitello Piccata are highly recommended. Drinks are solid and the wine list is well selected and reasonably priced. You’ll love the staff. They are very attentive and friendly. Convenient valet parking. I’ll definitely be coming back!!
