Just came from this restaurant tonight… food was not hot. Hubby found a creepy crawly (cockroach) in the shrimp with sauce after he put a spoonful of it on his plate. Immediately gave the plate to one of the staff and identified which pan it came from. Manager came to table with a $10 gift certificate (we spent $58 on the experience-2adults/2kids) We didn’t want the gift certificate as we will not be returning… the manger took $20 off the bill. Had the manager cheerfully refunded the whole bill I would not be writing this review!

I’m thinking the business is creating fake reviews for this restaurant. Google reviews has this buffet rate over 4 stars and yelp has this buffet rates at 2.8, which in my opinion is too high as well.

This has been my favorite Chinese in town until I ate the buffet and the owner or owners son walked up to us when we were done and said: from now on when you come here you make one plate at a time so you don’t waste food. Keep in mind my husband just fractured his ankle and was in a boot so I had to make his plates. Pain meds make you nauseated so you don’t finish everything. The whole purpose of a buffet is to eat what you want. When we order to go, we have gotten the same thing for several years but the buffet was supposed to give us the option to try new things. Very rude on his part. We won’t be returning just because of that comment even though their food is amazing. That’d be like me telling my patients not to come back here once their blood pressure is under control. Like who does that?!

My wife and I have been looking for a buffet near us with Hibachi. And OMG!! It took us a year to find this hidden Gem about 45 minutes from our house but boy is the drive worth it. I’m a plain Jane but they have plenty of veggies!
