It’s very hard to find a truly good Chinese spot nowadays. I’ve lived in the area for a long time, but never gave No1 a try until today. I am blown away. I had the pork lomein, and wonton soup, and I’m so full but can’t stop eating the leftovers. I am so happy to have finally given No. 1 Chinese a try, and you should too! Amazing portions, great prices, a true Baltimore hidden gem.

Noodles, egg and spring rolls were excellent but I (vegetarian) ordered something from the menu called “Szechuan bean curd” thinking this would be some kind of stir fried dish but instead it was a Quart sized container full of sweet soy sauce, soft tofu, and peas. It was awful.

This is my go-to for Chinese cuisine for many years. There has been a few hiccups along the way, but they were resolved quickly and professionally! The food is always fresh and arrives at my door nicely packaged and at the right temperature! Thank you NO. 1 CHINESE KITCHEN for your outstanding service and timely deliveries. We appreciate you!

I ordered General Tso’s chicken with vegetable lo mein and a small pint of short ribs. The ribs and chicken were too sweet and also somewhat tasteless. The lo mein tasted the best out of the three. It was like they overdid it on the sauce to compensate for something. Though I LOVED that they had given me a very generous portion size of food! The egg roll was the size of two egg rolls! I’ll definitely try them again and order at a different time of the day for fresher food. Good portion sizes and delicious not-too-greasy veggie lo mein saved this from being a bad review.

ordered with Uber eats. The driver delivered sight unseen to the wrong property. The restaurant when contacted serval times advised I needed to walk to get it even after speaking and confirming with hotel staff that it was delivered to the wrong property and it was unsafe to be walking at this time. Big hassle after spending 80 dollars.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for blk ppl which is apparent that they think we eat anything such as bland leftovers the rice was really horrible like maybe it’s been used over and over again very little dried up bean sprout and onion with no taste even the soy sauce only gave it a salty taste the egg rolls dried up and tasteless the soda was flat my order wasy $20 and some change which I tipped the unkept driver $2 and the change y’all know how you treat certain ppl with disrespect but take the money for bad food I was jipped of money but what do y’all care would you give your families and friends the kind of bad food you gave me I don’t think so your business is bad I didn’t even get gravy what i asked for i would never order from you again your partial but you know well what you’re doing food I payed for isn’t good enough for a dog you owe me my money back it’s pure evil what you do when ppl spend there money at your establishment they should be treated fairly with respect but you think this is how it should be to a certain type of ppl

Good good. But interior was about 40 degrees. Coooold. And it looks shabby. And there was a gross plastic wall for covid? The cold? ET?

I gave them 2 stars for social distancing measures. I ordered yat gaw mein. Anyone that’s eaten this America created Chinese dish knows that it is NOT made with lo mein noodles. Additionally, I’ve never in my 50+ years had it with tiny micro shrimp. Complete disappointment, and I won’t be back.

It’s okay, soggy and tasteless. Orange chicken does have a weird taste and smell. Driver didn’t know where she was going. Had to direct and wait for her outside.
