August 2023: My second time dining at No. 9 Park was a better experience than the first time 4 years ago.

We did the 6 course tasting menu. The plates were a work of art. It was so pretty that I had enjoyed admiring it before digging in.

I love the ambiance, service, and drinks from this place! I never feel rushed here and the bartenders go above and beyond to make me feel welcomed! They’re super knowledgeable and really crafty too! Food-wise, I love their tagliatelle and oysters, but otherwise I feel like the other menu options were not as remarkable in my opinion. I still think they fully deserve 5 stars though!

Incredible food! Was super excited to try this Barbara Lynch restaurant, and happy to say I was not disappointed in the least! Seafood was incredibly fresh, the various apps and side dishes were all tasty, and the entree’s were substantial and beautiful. On the expensive side, but so worth it for special occasions! Looking forward to going back!

We did the Chef’s Tasting menu. This was my first experience like this (multi course, fancy fancy, etc).

We had the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding – Brad was a delight and recommended multiple favorite/custom drinks when we wanted shots (“Where do you work?” was our favorite!). We had such a fun time and the ambiance, food, overall service and vibes were 10/10. The servers were so attentive and even explained each dish to us. The peach dessert plus some coffee was a great way to wrap up the evening. Definitely a high-end dining experience from start to finish. Big thank you again to Brad!

I’m trying to think of the adjectives that come to mind when I think of No. 9 Park…. Intimate, exclusive, refined, high-end, educated, and well crafted. We had long wanted to go, but found getting a reservation to be a bit of a challenge. We would often jealously look in through the old windows on the front of the building and see diners enjoying this exclusive, warmly-lit culinary experience. This year on our anniversary we planned well in advance and got a reservation later in the evening (8:45 pm). We were greeted at the door and were seated by an extremely attentive and gracious staff. Jordan was our server throughout the evening, and he was not only engaging but deeply educated in food and pairings to a degree we had not seen elsewhere in many restaurants around the globe. That being said, No. 9 Park is certainly not an inexpensive place to dine (notice I did not say “eat”… that’s from mere restaurants). The Chef’s Tasting menu is a six or seven course adventure beginning at $160 a person. With cocktails (the House Old Fashion is amazing) or wine you can easily spend over $4-500 for two people. A la carte menu items are typically between $40 and $75 each as well. What’s the old saying? You get what you pay for. At number 9 Park that is definitely true. The food is incredibly well crafted, the service excellent, and the atmosphere warm, inviting and intimate. It’s tough to get a reservation, and it’s expensive..but the value is there. Overall I would rate the atmosphere an A and the food an A as well.

We had the tasting menu. Some of the food concepts are a bit too creative and didn’t pair well. The best item we had was the steak tartare. Overall an expensive tasting menu. Service was good but the tasting menu was slow in preparation and service.

This year was my favorite holiday lunch I’ve had in Boston yet! No.9 Park blew it out of the water and we loved the Ruben Cardoza cocktail list! Lunch couldn’t have been any better and we’re glad we got to finish it off with a Tom & Jerry

We had the pleasure of securing rsvp for Sat April 30th evening. We were greeted and seating in the front table by the windows which was a good spot. I preferred that area vs the back, because trying to walk past the back tables to the restrooms were quite tight. Our server Jordan was absolutely amazing, interactive and knowledgeable! We will request him next time we go again! He made our experience so so truly enjoyable. We did the chefs tasting menu with the added course of their signature dish, the gnocchi I think. Each plate was stunning and we did the Lux wine pairing , we were so impressed how perfectly each glass complimented each dish. We will be back for sure as we were told the chefs menu changes monthly!
