The brisket was very dry, you had to lather it in BBQ sauce just to offset how dry the meat was. The rub and sauce were prepared well, and very flavorful. The dirty rice was good but colder than it should have been at presentation. The Texas toast was a nontoasted piece of white bread…. The bacon baked beans had no bacon or a hint of bacon even being baked with them.

Had ribs and brisket, both overdone and didn’t seem real fresh, came out kinda cold. My co-worker found a hair in his salad. The Coleslaw was very good though. The staff were very nice. I think this place could be a lot better with some tweaks to cooking methods and maybe some menu option rearrangement.

Pretty good. Awesome baked beans. Briskets good. Rice dressing was a little on the dry side. Bbq sauce needs more heat, really tangy. Food is bland but the smoke flavor is there just no heat for a southern palette. Server was good but overworked for the 8 tables there by himself. Workers are friendly.

Absolutely the best bar-b-que I’ve found. I had the Angry Pig sandwich (pulled pork with jalapenos and pickled onions!). Grandson had half rack of ribs, and tore them up. The food was delicious, slaw the exact right tartness for the pulled pork, toasted bread, and don’t miss the garlic mashed potatoes. Oh my goodness! Awesome rice dressing too. Plus, the service was over the top!!! Do yourself a favor, and go eat there.

Overall an excellent place to enjoy some BBQ. Great service, the food overall is excellent and the owner made his rounds to check on all the customers. Some of the best ribs and pulled pork and the brisket was good as well. Would eat again.

The brisket sandwich I had was top notch. Sampler plate of smoked boudin, candied bacon, and loaded fries was amazing. The sauce is superb. Really, I can’t find anything that wasn’t amazing. This is well worth the price!

The goods is great, we got the brisket plate and the pulled pork plate. The baked beans should be their own food group, they are that good. Try the loaded fries as an appetizer. Overall we are pleased and will be back!!!

This place it the best BBQ around. We had the lil rib plate and the pulled pork plate. The food was absolutely amazing! After living all over this country and been to a lot of BBQ restaurants this place called No Good Sons BBQ and Boil is the best BBQ restaurant I have ever had. If you are in the Broussard Louisiana area you have to stop by and see them and fill your belly full.
