I had an amazing omakase experience at No Relation. The sushi was really fresh and not overly seasoned, so I could enjoy the natural seafood flavors. The two chefs were polite and knowledgeable.

I’m a big sushi fan and love to try out Japanese cuisine around the world. This is the best omakase sushi you can get in Boston. The restaurant is tiny so make sure you reserve a seat at least a few weeks in advance. I would love to give a 5 star but unfortunately there are some down points. It was a 5 out of 5 the first time we visit, but the score has going down after. First of all, they don’t really change the menu, so you end up having a fixed setting each time. Which takes out the whole surprise of the Omakase experience. Secondly, the quality of the sushi rice varies. Sometimes it was amazing and sometimes was pretty bad rice felt apart when picking the sushi up. Besides that, this restaurant is really really good and I highly recommend to everyone who loves sushi. The fish was always with great quality and the chief was super friendly and skillful. My personal favorite is the sommeliers. They are extremely knowledgeable with sake!

Always an incredible experience to come here for dinner. The fish is incredibly fresh, the flavor combinations are uniquely delicious, and the atmosphere makes you completely forget you’re in a basement in the South End. The current sommelier, Ada, is super knowledgeable about all of the wine and sake offerings and has an impeccable sense of customers’ preference to recommend the perfect pairing(s) during the meal. My wife and I cannot wait to go back!

I had my first omakase experience at No Relation. The entire experience is very intimate and an enjoyable journey. The chefs naturally deliver a symphony of flavors in single bites which I can highly recommend. Alexi, who takes care of drinks, is an absolute pleasure and an expert on what is served. Overall I highly recommend this high quality experience to anyone it speaks to!

This is our 1st time dine at this restaurant, we were worried we might not be full but we were. We enjoyed most of sushi except mackerel I always find it has strong fishy taste. The white sturgeon would better without caviar. It over power the rest of dish. Overall it was pleasant experience.

Great experience and fantastic sushi at the No relation Omakase. The chefs were very friendly explaining the ingredients and their seasonal menu with us. I loved how you could add on to the experience at the end with special rolls and A5 wagyu.

Food is good and the service has been great. The reason for this three star is that I personally do not like to be asked about if I want to add extra stuff to what I have already paid for. I dun mind you guys raise the price so everything will be covered and no more selling at the spot. plus for someone who doesn’t know much about sake and wine, it would be great if there are recommendations with each course

Stiff atmosphere. Sushi was fine but most of the pieces were blowtorched/aburi-ed. They will ask everyone individually nearing the end if you would like to add one of their luxurious add-ons (think caviar, wagyu etc.) for additional $ which left a sour taste in our mouth. Will hit up other spots in the future for a more encompassing and sincere experience.

Incredible sushi experience and service by the chefs and staff. The fish selections were wonderful and well put together, each piece bringing something new and different to the table. The sake selections for the pairing are also a great addition to the meal. Great place to go for a special event! Or if you just love great omakase sushi.
