I ordered the small shrimp Cesar salad. It comes with a little house made parmesan toasted bread bit. It was delicious! There was live music inside delivered to a patio speaker. We sat outside and enjoyed the strolling passersby.

The dining room in this basement restaurant is very cozy. Live music started at 7:30 on a Saturday night. We shared a Tuscan pizza. I thought it was good, but my foodie wife noted that the dough for the crust didn’t have enough salt and the garlic wasn’t roasted properly.

My wife and I visited the Noggin Room for the first time a few weeks ago for a cocktail and a snack. We were pleasantly surprised not only by the atmosphere and the service, but the live music as well. Our server, Tony, was attentive and engaging. He offered to take a drink off of our tab that we didn’t like, we declined but appreciated the offer. The musician was Todd Aldrich, he was engaging and interacted with the crowd. The cheese curds we had for a snack were the “best ever” according to my better half.

My wife and I were looking for some good fish and chips in Petoskey. Looked on Google and found the Noggin Room Pub had great reviews. Well, I have to say ditto! The whitefish is fresh out of Lake Michigan never frozen per our waiter. You can certainly tell by the flavor. Lightly beer battered and done to perfection. We were more than pleased! In addition, the New England Clam Chowder was veryy hardy. Plenty of seafood and packed with flavor. We also enjoyed the fresh popped popcorn served as soon as we were seated. My kinda place! Usually when we dine somewhere I’m super hungry. It’s great to have something to snack on before the drinks arrive . The service was top notch.. My hat is off to Colton as he was spot on with taking care of us! Keep in mind this pub is located in the Stafford’s Perry Hotel which Google maps didn’t make clear to us when trying to locate it. We’ll certainly be back next time we’re in town!

Service is usually pretty great! Food is sub par bar food. but it’s affordable. Good place to have a drink and laugh with friends. Environment is dark bar type, but very family friendly and inviting. Kind of ski pub like. Just don’t expect anything great to come off the menu. Unless your used to McDonald’s it’s definitely a level above that.

Good food and atmosphere. Restaurant entrance is under the hotel front porch or you can go to the basement in the hotel. We had the haddock fish plate and the chicken wings appetizer and both were good.

It was good. It’s in the basement though, so don’t plan on any water views like some of the other reviews I saw.

Been there twice so far when I visit Petoskey, both times ordered pizza, will definitely come back again. Food is delicious and the service is friendly, nice atmosphere you feel welcome as soon you walk in the door.
