Tried this Caribbean restaurant for lunch. The oxtail, mango wings, and house Caribbean salad that we got were good. The service was also good and the server made recommendations that were helpful for us. I also tried the spicy hibiscus margarita with an ice ball infused with 3 types of peppers that made the more drink spicy as it melted. I didn’t get them but bottomless mimosas for brunch/lunch seemed to be popular

GREAT FOOD! I had the shrimp and grits and the crab Fritters, I can’t explain how amazing it was to bite into every piece. Our server was great, being that it was his first week. If you’re in New Orleans, definitely visit!

I enjoyed the food it was just a lot. We had the fritters as an appetizer and Sausage and gravy as brunch entrees. The atmosphere was great but maybe because it was Essence everyone was in happy mood and definitely great prices for bottomless mimosas. Kinda wish they had some lighter options.

Loved this place!! Stopped by on my trip to Nola. Made reservations for 830pm, and although we had to wait a little over 10mins for our table, Westin, the manager was more than apologetic and even made us some cocktails on the house for the wait. Weston even busted and cleaned the table for us. It’s not often you see a manager do this. Liam was our server, and his customer service skills were on point. He offered suggestions and knew the menu well. The crab and conch fritters w/garlic-lime mayo were really good. The tacos were awesome. My favorite was the carribean pork w/pineapple. The jerk fish and ginger salmon were both perfectly cooked. Nice sear on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, but the braised oxtails were hands down the best dish of the night. These braised oxtails over jalapeño Cheddar grits is a MUST TRY. The oxtails were so full of flavor and falling off the bone tender. For dessert we had keylime pie and bread pudding. Overall everything was exceptional. From the level of service to the food. You must give this place a try. I mean….you just have too.

The food here was okay the stars are the appetizers. The drinks were okay , I found a baby spider in my initial drink, but they happily replaced it, but still it was just okay. Overall idk if I caught them to close to closing but definitely 3/5. The aesthetic of the restaurant was very nice, apps, and attentiveness from the waiter

Came here for the first time and had my birthday dinner. The food and drinks were great! I had the Jerk Fish, perfectly cooked and seasoned. There was a mixup but the manager, Weston, was so accommodating and respectful. He really took care of us. This is a spot I plan on visiting every time I’m in town! Highly recommend.

The happy hour at NOLA Caye was one of the best happy hours I’ve been to in a while! I highly recommend the chicken wings, jalapeño queso dip and the oyster taco.

I went to Nola Caye this evening for Father’s day 6.18.23. I originally was going to Des Familias on the Westbank and they were booked so we went to their sister restaurant, Nola Caye. Definitely a hidden gem that needs to be out in the open. The atmosphere was inviting, service was phenomenal and super quick! Westin was extra giving and made sure everything was cooked to our liking. He really catered to everyone in the restaurant! We were in and done in less than an hour!! If you haven’t been, it’s a must you go! Caribbean style menu and it’s amazing! Drinks are exceptional. Felt like I was dining abroad
