I was working in Charlevoix and I love sushi so I decided to give this place a try. It’s a small place in the alley but it’s very nice inside and the dude making the sushi is awesome. The sushi was good, but honestly it’s nothing special. The watermelon salad however, was excellent. The vinaigrette is herbal and nutty with a hint of sweetness, it is really good. Overall, it’s a pretty good place and I would recommend it if you’re looking for some decent sushi.

Highly recommend this place! Last night was our first time there. The owners were so great and friendly to talk to. We were laughing with them the whole meal. I can tell the amount of work they put in as well as the pride they take in their work. They like to only use fresh, local produce and are constantly at the farmers market trying to find the freshest ingredients and it shows in the food. The food was so good! Had the watermelon salad and a bunch of rolls. All so delicious and we will be back! As someone who loves food it was nice to talk to people who also love food.

Visiting up north and east able to finally have a date night with my husband. This place answered my food cravings! Small place but FRESH delicious food! Made with care and perfection. I do wish they had water or soft drinks. 🙂

The food here is unbelievable. Totally hit the spot for a quick, fresh meal. The Nomi Bowl is flavorful, textural, and addictive. I’m not usually a fan of ginger at sushi restaurants but this is like fresh off the root with a lemony kick.

Disappointing. Only 6 small, thin, sloppily rolled pieces with less flavor than grocery store sushi has. Not worth the $12-14 and long wait.

The fresh fish was on display when you enter. I had the Super Tuna Roll and it did not disappoint. Definitely the best sushi you can find anywhere in Northern Michigan.
