This was a small but very nice place. The food was fantastic, the owners are very friendly, & the dining area was very clean. I got the garlic chicken with fried rice & a spring roll while my wife got sweet & sour chicken with steamed rice, everything tasted great & came nice & hot. We’re already looking forward to our next time here!

Local quality homemade Asian food. The atmosphere is great and always has friendly excellent service! Food is so good! This is our go to in the Des Moines area every time and never disappoints. Can’t believe they are retiring! Hurry and get it before it’s gone!

Ordered takeout and had never been here before the pandemic. Came home to the saddest box of food I have ever seen or tasted. Absolutely bland. Not to mention I order a dinner order of Mongolian beef and got 9 pieces of tough beef. the noodles are dry and are basically plain ramen noodles, not lo mein. Ordered the kids sweet and sour chicken. Yuck! Not even mad they didn’t want it. What I am mad about is paying $55 for horrible food. Also the fried rice… Weird. They basically took white rice and threw burnt scrambled eggs in it. Awesome! I’ll never come here again.

I am completely shocked by the 5 star reviews on this place. Did I eat at a different restaurant because this was literally the worst food I have ever had in my life. I am not picky, but this was trash. My husband got lo mein and it is literally noodles doused in soy sauce. Literally nothing else. I got orange chicken, and the sauce on it is pure honey. I couldn’t even finish half of it because it was so bad. The appetizers are flavorless and seem like they came out of the frozen section of the store. I think the most offensive part is how expensive it is! I am almost tempted to ask for my money back because it was so bad.

Awesome little locally owned gem in Altoona! Finally found a great Korean restaurant in Central Iowa! Owners were extremely nice & welcoming, they made me feel like I was a regular even though it was my first time trying it out. Food was great as well. Definitely worth checking out.

Are you kidding??? This is exactly what I was looking for. Asian Fusion at it’s finest! Chinese, Japanese, or Korean…all perfect. And the Sapporo beer was super cold. Couldn’t be happier.

Our server suggested the pot stickers and they did not disappoint! They were fresh and hot and served with both chili sauce and sweet and sour sauce. We also had the chicken lo mein and drunken chicken and both were excellent. Our server was helpful and friendly. We’ll be back!

Don’t come here if you have time sensitive plans afterwards. Waited over 30 minutes for fried rice and broccoli beef. Saw multiple to go orders go out while we waited as well as another tables’ food. They did take our appetizer off of our ticket. Which we appreciated. Tye food itself was fine. Not worth the price of wait in my opinion.
