Nona Tata is not just the name of the restaurant, but the Chef as well! This Chef driven Italian is some of the best you will find anywhere. Each dish is made with care as if you were in someone’s Italian home. Every taste is spot on, from classics to personal takes on old favorites. Not a lot of seating inside, more on the patio outside. BYOB and CASH only! Add this one to your favorites

This is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. I hadn’t been back in probably 7 years after I moved away and it was great to go back and find that the food quality is still A+. The sautéed calamari is ridiculously good. Pastas are epic. You can also bring your own wine (BYOB). Heads up. It’s cash only so be prepared. It’s also a very tiny restaurant so be prepared to wait. Just go down the street to The Usual for a cocktail while you wait.

Great service, the bread and garlic noodles taste amazing! Will definitely be returning. Very crowded around opening time.

Great place on Magnolia Avenue. If it is pretty, seating outside makes it feel like European Bistro. Bringing your own wine is so much fun. Caesar salad was perfection. The classic carbanara was a little dry for myself but still tasty. Staff was attentive, and the food arrived quickly.

This is one of those places I almost don’t want to leave a good review for – because I love it so much and I don’t want it to become as crowded and packed as it deserves to be. The food is very good, as is the atmosphere.

Authentic, homemade Italian. This evening we sat on the quiet patio and got excited tasting the Gnocchi and spinach pasta dishes. Be sure to bring your own bottle of wine and step into a piece of Italy. Unbelievable that this exists in the middle of Fort Worth Texas. They accept CASH AND CHECK ONLY.

Only about 6 tables inside, and too hot to eat outside, don’t go when it’s hot you won’t be able to sit outside because of the heat. Food was not good at all, and I thought it was priced too high. You can byob, but they charge you $3 for each glass. No credit cards only cash and check, very inconvenient. Only one waitress and very cramped inside. Had a table close to the dishwasher and heard all the banging of pots and pans during dinner. I do not suggest if you want a nice evening out.

This is a hard restaurant to review because I am very picky about my Italian food. The patio is larger then the inside so I sat outside. The waiter was very nice and gave good recommendations. I had the brusetta for my appetizer. It was sub par. The ingredients were not very fresh and there was too much balsamic. The house salad was surprisingly good and fresh. I would recommend that. The waiter recommended the home made tagatelli. It was good but not worth the 5$ up charge. My chicken was over fried and dry. The arribitta sauce was excellent. This place has a lot of potential but needs some more work

Ok this place has been on my list for years but we always either are waiting for a special day or don’t have cash on us. Today we fully planned ahead and Nonna Tatas was well worth the effort! Everything we tried was excellent between the flavor, the texture, and the clearly fresh made delights that we got. If you go here, spring for the hand made paperdelle (sp?) because it was incredible. We couldn’t put our forks down and look forward to our next visit!

Only accepts cash or check and they don’t let you know that at the beginning. When you bring your wine you have to pay $3 per glass to drink it from so bring your own glasses or just don’t drink. I loved the calamrai, it’s not fried, it is sauteed. I enjoyed the food but staff was hardly around when we needed them.
