I have been frequenting this Italian restaurant for many years. I like the fact that it has a limited menu, but the selection is still substantial enough that almost anybody can find something to eat. Included, but not limited to, are chicken dishes, sandwiches, and of course pasta dishes. Try the lasagna but substitute in sausage for the meatballs. My dish (that you will see in the picture) is the Nonni’s chicken. I cannot tell you how outstanding this was!!! If you don’t know what to order, try this. And be sure to sample the zucchini planks as an appetizer. OMG!

It was my daughters birthday and we decided to come here to eat dinner. It started off great.. but we both ordered alfredo pasta. The sauce was thick and way too much never tasted alfredo like it. We didnt want to make a big deal but we asked to not have it… she asked us if we wanted it boxed . Lol really? And then she took off one meal n left the other on.. i said ummm we barely touched it and she said well he made it. . Ok well we didnt like it. She rolled her eyes n said ill take it off. Horrible service. Never asked if we wanted something else. It was 745 and she said the kitchen was closed.. they close at 9…. never again very rude.

After a long drive, we were looking for a good Italian restaurant, and we found one in Nonni’s. The food was excellent, the service was great, and after the meal the owners were kind enough to chat with us for a bit and make sure we were satisfied. Local Youngstown residents should really check this restaurant out.

Because of food allergies I asked for scampi noodles. That would have been noodles with butter and garlic. I got a ball of noodles with liquid popcorn type butter and powdered garlic the noodles were swimming. I then got charged 995 for that meal of noodles and butter. I got offered bread after the fact. And was never offered a salad or soup or anything else to go along with my noodles and butter. And it took me 25 minutes to get this meal. The service was horrible although the place was clean.

What a gem! It is our weekly Girl’s Night Out/In and tonight it is Nonni’s Restaurant in Youngstown (Liberty). We have never been but we will definitely be back. We ordered the Chicken Romano and the Chicken Alfredo…both of them equally delicious. You get a lot of food…enough for leftovers for the next day. The chicken was tender in both dishes..the pasta done just right! The marinara sauce was oh so tasty and the Alfredo sauce seasoned just right! We are so happy we found Nonni’s. Try them out…you will be delighted!
