The owner was super welcoming and made sure we were good and helped when needed. If you’ve never had this type of food before they have premade options or you can create your own! I did a kids bowl at 24 years old and it was still plenty for a light lunch! Food was made super fast. You’re on the main road of West Reading so of course street parking is going to be a hit or miss but there is a payment parking across the street.

Food was alright I should’ve tried one the premade options instead of attempting making my own lol but it was still good irregardless. We showed up when it wasn’t busy had the whole place to our selves. The low fi music is nice as well as the view, the mascot is cute btw! The price is about average for a noodle shop, if youve been to takkiis down the street they are priced about the same. Keep up the great work guys!

I recently had the chance to visit Noodl, a new fast-casual spot that specializes in ramen with delicious vegan and vegetarian options as well. I started with the veggie dumplings with peanut sauce, which were absolutely delicious. The sauce was the star of the show, with a perfect balance of spiciness and tanginess that complemented the dumplings perfectly. I also got the veggie ramen, which had fresh ingredients and was tasty, but I found it to be a bit mild for my taste. Next time, I plan to add more chili crisp to give it an extra kick. Noodl is a great spot for vegans and vegetarians as you can create your own bowls. I appreciated the fast-casual atmosphere, and the restaurant was modern and clean. It was also affordable, which is a huge plus. Ordering was easy with the kiosk, and our order was brought out to our table quickly, despite being a busy Saturday night.

I’m a big ramen lover and to me the ramen flavor was a bit lacking, so hopefully they make a couple tweaks to stand out more. First off, the pricing was a bit strange. I got a custom noodle bowl, but I got all the same things that the signature ramen bowl would have because it was about $3.50 cheaper to make it as a custom, plus I didn’t want the mushrooms that came in the signature bowl. The price of the custom bowl seemed fair, but the price of the signature bowl seemed kind of steep (over $17). I got ramen with the pork tonkotsu broth with pork belly, marinated egg, scallions, corn, bean sprouts, and bok choy, with nori topping. The broth was decent, but the broth to noodle ratio was off. There wasn’t enough broth. The noodles, as well as all of the toppings were a little bland and needed soy sauce to make it taste more like other ramen places. The marinated egg was cold, and I personally prefer them to be warm. The pork belly was pretty good and there was a generous portion of it (maybe some people would say too much, but I like a lot of meat in dishes). Not all of the scallions were fully diced through, so I got some long sections that should have been 4 or 5 slices. There was also a bit too much scallion for my taste, and I ended up avoiding a lot of them at the end to finish the broth off. My wife got a custom ramen bowl with the miso broth with beef, broccoli, mushroom, scallion, carrots, and marinated egg. Like mine, her toppings were rather flavorless and were improved by soy sauce. Her broth was much less flavorful than the pork tonkotsu. The beef was very tasty though, and tasted like it had some kind of ginger marinade. The decor inside was very nice, and was laid out just like some other ramen places I’ve been to. It was very clean and obviously everything looked very new. There are curtain windows, so it will probably be great to eat here in the spring and fall when they can open everything up to the fresh air. The ordering was done at a kiosk, but there was someone available to assist when I had a question. You take a number card to your table and the food is delivered to you. It was an easy process with minimal human interaction. Overall, it was just okay, but I think there is a lot of room for improvement to make it a great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first time at Noodl! Built my own ramen bowl with tonkotsu broth and beef as my protein. Very good. Nice atmosphere inside and easy contactless ordering process. Will definitely be back.

This place was actually really nice. First time here and it was good. They accidentally put mushrooms in my ramen, but that’s okay as I just picked them out! At the time we went, you had to go to a screen and order what you wanted. A guy did check on us to ensure we didn’t need help. We dined in and it was pretty nice and relaxing. Also, the food came out really fast! I have not tried anything else from there, but I do intend to go back to give it another go.

This was overall disappointing. I wanted to like this place so much, but I just couldn’t. The digital ordering was a bit clunky (it auto skipped past the add-ons and then when I tried to go back deleted the whole item), but fine. The staff were friendly and we got our drinks fine. I was a bit disappointed to see that all of the utensils were plastic and flimsy, but I was genuinely excited to try the Ramen I ordered. The tonkatsu both was a good flavor, but didn’t have the depth and body that makes it so memorable. There also wasn’t very much broth available at the top. It was totally buried and I had to eat half of it before I had enough room to mix it up. The noodles had a tightly packed square at th bottom where they didn’t separate at all. The chashu pork was flavorful and generously portioned. The coldness of all of the toppings lowered the overall temp of the soup to be barely above lukewarm. It was unpleasant to eat the veggies that way and lowered the quality of everything else in the bowl. Our pork dumplings were good, but my husband’s curry was flavorless. He said it tasted spicy, but that was it. Our friend got a rice bowl that was totally missing its sauce and her mushrooms “tasted like the stale air of being stored uncovered in a walk in fridge”. I get the concept that they were going fr here, but Ramen isn’t Chipotle. Keeping everything cold just made the experience overall worse. I would have rather they thrown my bowl in the microwave before serving it rather than giving it as it was.

The main benefit of this place is the atmosphere and the clear food allergy options and a build your own option. If you want Asian food but you have an allergy this place is fairly good. They have it clearly listed what options you can or can’t have. The one con regarding that is you have to order online.
