Noodle House is definitely one of the best restaurants in Fairfield. I have been coming here since I was very little because it is such a staple. There are plenty of options. You can go in and choose menu items from the buffet (they serve it for you). I think you can also order other items. Lots of vegetarian options, and some vegan options. The food is just really good and perfect for when you don’t know what you are hungry for.

Upon entering, I waited in a short line for about 6 minutes before approaching a small buffet showing the day’s offerings. The owners work together to serve from the buffet and check out customers. The food was good, and was clearly cooked with quality, fresh ingredients. I noticed a number of Thai elements, setting this apart from the standard Asian fusion buffet that I am accostumed to finding in small towns. Green curry, lemon grass, and unique spices all contributed to the experience. One of my dishes was vegetarian, and both where delicious. Parking was easy (right out front) and the dining area featured long, communal tables. I would go back and bring a vegetarian friend.

The health department needs to pay a visit to this establishment. Very dirty and unkept. Scary to eat here…. We left after 2 bites.

Satisfied with flavor and food quality. The owner is friendly. Recommend to try, if you want to experience Thai foods style.

I used to love eating here, but recently they randomly are closed and refuse to cook menu items and will only serve the buffet.

Excellent food all around. I’ve been there several times weeks and months apart, and the food is not only good but *consistent* which is very important. The curry is wonderful, especially the green, and just the right spiciness–perhaps a bit mild compared to “real” Thai, but plenty for an adventurous American taste. (And I’m told you can ask for a bit more coconut milk if you have less tolerance for the heat). It’s very similar to my authentic Thai green curry, and *almost* as good. 😉 I have no doubt that they use authentic recipes as there are often pieces of lemongrass, etc.

I’ve tried this restaurant several times over the past year and have been disappointed each time. I love Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Malaysian, Indian, Sri Lankan, and other cuisines from that area. Although the cafeteria style served portions are very generous and prices are inexpensive, the food itself is disappointing. To me each of the various dishes I’ve tried tastes excessively salty

High quality and really good, best place to eat in Fairfield….when it’s open. I think their hours are something like 11:30-2:30, 5:30-8:30 M-F, no weekend hours. Not only that, they will randomly shut down for days on end.
