I used to eat at this particular Noodles and Company frequently when I was employed nearby in 2010-2011ish. I’d get off for lunch and a few of us would drive up here for a meal. I was always partial to the Pesto Cavatappi with either shrimp or parmesan chicken. After some time spent shopping around Utica and 53rd Street today, I decided to stop in for a late lunch and revisit those lunch breaks of yore.

Excellent food and very nice staff. Both the cashier and our server were very friendly and helpful last time we visited but I’ve never had a bad experience there. Lots of menu options and things to try. The food is always fresh and it doesn’t take long to get to the table. They do a great job keeping the place clean as well. Always a top choice when I’m in the area.

Decided to change their hours and close their restaurant on Sundays, they don’t need customers apparently, best way to make money is to not sell your product.

Will never order from this location again. Ordered a $12 meal to get a bowl that was less than half way full of food. The amount of food I received would fill up about 1/3 of the “regular” bowl that they have on the display counter. The “regular bowl” that I received, much smaller than their display, was less than half way full of food – shown below

Needles & company is one of my favorite restaurants and this location had excellent customer service, the food was terrific, and the store was clean and I like the relaxed, laid back atmosphere. As a vegetarian, I like that there are a few options to pick from. My husband’s a meat eater, but he always gets the tofu in his dish because it is so well prepared.

I had tried to place my order online, but the system wasn’t giving me the gluten free substitution option. So I called and spoke to the manager, he made sure to use gluten free noodles and took all precautions he could provide a celiac kid with a gluten free Mac and cheese!

I appreciate the fact that the food is tasty enough. But, a bowl of egg noodles and a few pieces of chicken shouldn’t be $12. There was about a $5 food cost to the bowl. I can make the same items at home for around $3.50 a portion. That means that the restaurant uses the remainder for inflated wages to the lazy workers that I observed.

Indoor/outdoor seating available. Very consistent, we’ve never been disappointed by any Noodles & Co meal!

It’s pasta. Always decent. Mine was a touch chewy, and not in the happy al dente way. We were there at 7 on Saturday. It must have been after be a rush, but they were out of ice, chopsticks, and napkins, the floors were fairly littered, and the drink stations were sticky. It’s usually better but still nice to mind blowing.
