A group of us ate here while back in Bozeman, Montana visiting our family and friends. Pretty cool place and always busy. I ordered a brick oven pizza that was pretty good size for 1 person, although it was very greasy it tasted good especially the crust. My wife had the peach salad with chicken and she really liked it, my buddy got a burger and enjoyed it as well. Our overall experience was good, a little spendy but what isn’t in Bozeman, not the same town we grew up in by any means. Definitely recommend trying Nordic at least once.

I came in on a Thursday at 3:45 and was told they don’t serve food until 4 and couldn’t put in a Togo order. I came back the next day and made sure it was after 4….then waited 18 minutes for a to go desert. Yikes. Good news- for $11 they couldn’t even be bothered to put a whole piece of cheese cake in the container. Nice that the automatic 20% surcharge has really made service and quality decrease. No wonder they were slow as hell on a Friday evening. This is definitely the last time I’m coming in. And it used to be one of my go tos.

They started doing a 20% automatic tip. Gone downhill since then.

Came in on a few recent Fridays for a couple afternoon drinks. The place was fairly slow/quiet and had about 7-8 staff. Nobody greeted us and we finally decided to sit down despite the sign. It took another period of time before someone would come to bring a menu or acknowledge our existence 5ft from the bar (3 staff behind the bar). Again, zero effort to show any smile or greeting, just went into this tacky explanation of their mandatory 20% gratuity. They have a decent wood over margarita pizza and good old fashion cocktail. Overall very unresponsive service, just robotic task oriented non-smiling service with high prices and added Bozeman tourist tax driving away us locals. The marketplace is cool but bourgeois. It’s more millennial meat market.

We went to the restaurant in June after reading reviews. Really looking forward to eating here. The atmosphere was really nice. After being seated and ordering drinks. Eventually our food. It took about 45 minutes to get our food on a non busy lunch hour. The table next to us arrived long after us and had their food before we did. Our waiter never checked on us, just took order and brought our meals to us. By adding a 20% automatic gratuity the service suffered. We spent approximately 1 1/2 hours in the restaurant.

Love the food and beer! Don’t even mind the 20% fee (I presume back of house is also being paid less than minimum wage which I thought was the reason for tipping servers – I can’t pretend to fully understand). However, I don’t appreciate the server making mistakes like charging me full price for beers during happy hour (hoping I wouldn’t notice?) and bringing me the sparkling wine option that was not included in the happy hour when I was clearly ordering from the happy hour menu and then playing dumb with me ($12 vs $5 so an extra 20% on that $7, which is less than the extra tip I would have left her if I felt she was being honest – obviously I will never know!) I love the food and beer and will be giving it another go for sure hoping for better service!

Decent beer, great food, and awesome staff. The place was quite busy and they are extremely understaffed (Basically hiring every position), but we were able to be seated immediately at the upstairs bar.

came for happy hour and shared the dirty fries with brisket and the nordic burger. both were amazing, though i wished the potatoes were a bit smaller so there would be more crunch and flavor. otherwise, great food, beer and vibes!
