GREYSTREET BOYZ
This newly opened Mexican restaurant in Mount Penn has a great Molcajete Bowl at an affordable price. The beef empanadas can use more flavor. The staff were very friendly and quick with our order. Complimentary Tortilla chips with a nice spicy salsa upon arrival. Our waitress even brought me a nice Mexican sundae for my B-Day, fried ice cream was very good. Unsure if this location is BYOB? They do not serve alcohol as of right now.

Our waitress Lucy made the whole experience better..she was GREAT! Chicken Flautas were really good, and the fried ice cream. The other items I had were just very bland for my taste, not much seasoning. Free salsa & chips, chips were fresh, salsa had nice kick to it but not really any flavor. There was a group of us so we discussed a 1-10 rating amongst ourselves, and we averaged a 4.5 on that scale. Very nice staff and page was clean. Good company so it was a nice time. Being newly opened I’m sure things will be tweeked once they receive other reviews. Would visit again.

The food was amazing it was freshly made and very well seasoned. The service was quick and easy. The place was clean, spacious and the workers were nice. The outside doesn’t do the inside justice as it is well decorated. I would truly recommend this spot and it’s not that pricey.

We tried Norte Sur for the first time last night. I got the Norte Sur Tacos (amazing!), my husband got enchiladas, and my son got the steak tacos. Everything tasted delicious, the food came out very quickly even though the restaurant was mostly full, and the staff was so friendly. I also thought the prices were very reasonable compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. We’ll definitely be going back.

The good, the service, our waiter checked on us multiple times and was very attentive. The bad, the food, meh is the best word I can use to describe it. The chili relleno was pretty good but the enchilada I had was flavorless and I don’t know what was up with the empanada and it’s sauce but it tasted really funky, and not in a good way. There are two Mexican restaurants on the same street. If you are smart you will choose one of those.
