We have had both dine in and take out multiple times over the past two months. Everything I have tried several different dishes and combinations and all have been outstanding. We also came in for dinner last week and my fried chicken was excellent. The highest taste and quality we have seen in years.

I had an amazing experience at North 2 South cafe. Visiting friends, we decided to try this new place and I was blown away! The Ruben sandwich was fantastic, but the shrimp and grits were mind-blowing – the grit cakes were simply amazing. The owner was respectful and welcoming, and the restaurant’s southern twist really sets it apart. This place is a must-visit destination, and I hope to come back soon. Without a doubt, this was the best food I had on my whole trip. Thank you so much for bringing this Southern flare up North and for such an amazing café experience.

The service was excellent,. I ordered the Firecracker Shrimp, the portion was great with a very nice light breading. The only drawback was that there wasn’t enough heat for me. The low ceiling will make it noising when it is busy. I will be back due to the service and to try other menu items.

We ordered the shrimp and grits as well as the breakfast scramble with grits cake. Both exceed our expectations and we’re tasty. I particularly liked the grits cake because it was crispy on the outside and wasn’t mushy on the inside…to quote Vincent Gambini it was “al dente”
