Went to this place 2 times during my 3-day stay in Boston. The lobster roll is decent and you just can’t beat the price of $19 in Salem St (be noted that they are cold, not hot and buttered). Hand-rolled sushi is fine too. The staffs were nice and attentive. I recommend grabbing the takeout and finding a place to eat in Paul Revere park.

Fresh & good tasting food. Sushi fish slices sized fair to the price. Combo size fair to the price. Convenient takeout. Everything to like here.

Honestly the best sushi I’ve had in a LONG time. Got the spicy salmon avocado roll, salmon avocado roll and the crazy salmon maki roll. The salmon was so smooth and delicious you could hardly tell the texture between the avocado and the salmon. The price was also amazing. This is definitely a new regular spot for me!!

Arguably the worst sushi we’ve tried in Boston. No idea why this place has such good reviews. The sushi we ordered was basically inedible and as sushi lovers and broke college students it hurt to have to throw away precious raw fish that we spent over $40 on! We ordered the salmon lover combo and the spicy tuna salad. The rice was undercooked and unseasoned. It was hard and tasteless (usually the rice is dressed with vinegar). We decided to dig all the fish out from the rolls and leave the rice from the nigiri because it was so awful. The fish was extremely chewy—the tuna being a lot worse than the salmon. We ended up throwing out half the tuna because we couldn’t bring ourselves to keep eating it. You know it’s bad when the only good ingredient was the avocado. A very disappointing experience…

This is a must go for anyone who is going to Boston. This has the best lobster roll I’ve ever had period. They’re good is on the spendy side, but everything that they have is absolutely worth every penny.

The eponymous hole-in-the-wall sushi spot. Easy to miss but absolutely worth stopping by. Plan for taking the food to-go as there really isn’t any seating inside, but the food is phenomenal and the prices are quite good. We took our sushi a few short blocks to Rose Kennedy Greenway where there are plenty of tables and chairs for an outdoor meal.

North End Fish Market is my favorite spot for sushi. You will be underwhelmed when you walk in but will be blown away by how generous and delicious the sushi is. This spot is easy to miss from the outside. Look for the blue sign as you head down Salem St. (On the right). Also note that there are no spots to sit, as this is a take out only joint. When the weather is good I recommend sitting at the park off of Cross St. (just one block away). The flavors are unique, the quality consistent, and the service is great. My favorite rolls are Spicy Girl and Volcano roll.

I’ve had a lobster roll, it was okay, but not something I would get again or recommend, it was quite a bland taste – I think a bit more celery and some pepper would have made the taste pop. I didn’t know you cannot sit and eat, and since I was walking, I couldn’t get sushi, but there were a lot of people picking up sushi, so it seems like a popular place for it.

Great sushi! Very fresh and quick too. Not the best sushi you’ll ever have- but if you’re craving it then it gets the job done. Any of the rolls with mango are great, I had the mango avocado salmon roll with spicy mayo and it was so good.

I love this place! Just a little hole-in-the-wall but they have high quality fish and amazing prices. There’s no tables inside for sitting and eating so we always take it over to the greenway. Pay in cash if you want to see the owner SUPER EXCITED!
