Very casual barbecue place in dahlonega Georgia. The food was great. We ordered the chicken barbecue plate as well as a barbecue pork sandwich and a few cold beverages. Are side dishes were macaroni and cheese and coleslaw as well as hot and crispy french fries. The banana pudding for dessert was fantastic!

Clean, good people, great food. The sweet tea was brewed perfectly! The wings I bought were some of the best I’ve ever eaten! So full of flavor and juice, very fresh and meaty chicken. The fries were seasoned with more than simple salt and pepper, which thrilled me! I winced at the $15 price tag, but boy, was it worth it! I’ll be back here again soon.

Our first time to try N GA BBQ Dahlonega. It was a Saturday night and busy as can be expected. We had to wait a little bit to place our order which isn’t a huge deal. The food came out in a timely manner and and the presentation was fine overall. Our boys had the chicken strip club sandwich and the portion size with fries was large. They were happy with the quality and quantity. My wife and I shared the combo platter with pulled pork and chicken as the meat. It had good flavor and the portion size was large. They were out of the mac and cheese so we selected the collard greens and potatoes salad as our sides to split. The potato salad was the loaded baked potato variety and was pretty good. We tried the collard greens but they were too salty for our taste. Overall the meal quality was good, the portion sizes were large and the experience overall was good. Would recommend as a BBQ restaurant if visiting Dahlonega.

I enjoyed the meal. I am a heavy protein man and the combo platter w/three meats was perfect. I had turkey, chicken, and brisket. If you are from TX you are not going to be a fan of the sliced brisket. The hot BBQ sauce was delicious. I would have given it a 5/5, but the staff needs to smile more. Despite that I still left them a tip. Smile more, life’s too short. The food was delicious!

Okay place and food. I got smoked wings with lemon pepper and they were way too salty. I had to use napkin to get some seasoning off so I could eat them. But they were very meaty which was a plus. Husband BBQ pork sandwich was just okay, nothing special. Was charged extra for rub on wings which wasn’t noted on the menu. Said “served with” different flavors of sauce/rubs, so you would think there’s not an extra charge. Also, there’s a 4 % charge added to food price for credit card purchase which is not noted anywhere.

Decided to make a quick trip during the week to spend some time in Dahlonega before my better half heads back to teaching in a few weeks. Walked around the square for a bit and walked by several restaurants before smelling the smoke from this place and had to try it. I ordered the Pig Melt with a side of potato salad and she had the pulled pork (minus the bun because she is gluten free) with chips. The Pig Melt is a big sammy and I could only eat about half of the side. We both loved the meat. Good smoke flavor. We both had the hot bbq sauce which was flavorful but not too hot.

I usually do takeout and every single time it’s delicious and the people who work there are friendly. Great customer service and great food. I was shocked at how good their salads are. It’s hard to find a good salad when you eat out. Though I am not a fan of the vinaigrette.
