Used to eat here often and the food was always good along with good service. Came for breakfast today and everything about the experience was negative. I will say the server was kind but that was about it. The food took way too long and when it did arrive the food was cold, overcooked and just not good. Also there is no AC so be prepared to be hot while waiting 30 minutes for eggs.

Disappointed with food quality (roast beef was very fatty, hard to cut and chew), chicken finger wrap thing was definitely from frozen box and not freshly breaded, neither was appetizing), price wasn’t great compared to other local restaurants and then there was a weird long rubber string in my rice pudding.

I’ve been a Dundalk resident for the past 12 years and have driven by North Point Diner hundreds of times. Well, I decided it was time to get a breakfast sandwich. And I’m so glad that I did! Delicious, reasonably priced and they had it ready pretty quickly. Got 2 more today and my Mom in-law loved hers too. And they use actual Rapa scrapple. The waitress was kind enough to give me a couple menus to take home with me. I read one over while eating and we will be trying more items from their menu very soon. I’m looking forward to the chicken-fried steak! Give North Point Diner a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this diner. Friendly, fast, and efficient waitresses. Food is great. They have lottery machine inside you can play keno, horse races and more. Lots of seats and a bar counter.

Service was great and friendly, very quick as well, the food for me though in general wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. The place was not busy so I can’t say they rushed and made the food bad. May have been a bad day maybe but food could have tasted better.

Food was good, prices fair, service was abysmal. We were never greeted at the door, and eventually just seated ourselves. After 10 minutes, we had some menus dropped on our table and were told the server would be back. The attitude would fit in perfect at the DMV. Another 15 minutes and the server came over without even a greeting or a smile. When my mother ordered, she was asked what kind of toast with her meal, but when she asked about the pancakes, was told she was being charged extra because she ordered toast. Pancakes come with the meal, btw. Food took another 40 minutes, during which everyone else in the place had been served, including people that came after me. Wrong eggs, and when I asked about my toast, was given a nasty “its coming” in response. Server never offered us coffee refills, we had to grab her as she helped another table for the check. When it arrived, she just shook her head and dropped it on the table before walking away without a word. I mean, seriously, what did we do to her?

We got a few cheese steaks and hot burger entree. The food was actually pretty good, but the service was slow. From the point we walked in , it took 25 min for one of our waitresses to take our drink order 15min to get the drinks and 30min after that to get our food. We waited for 20 min after finishing our meal to grab our jackets and start to head to the door for our waitress to bring our check. The decor is definitely a throwback to an older Dundalk, with plenty of pig statue’s in the windows and slot machines behind the tables. If the service were better I would definitely give it a much better score for being an authentic mom and pop restaurant

Food is great, service can be lacking at times. At one visit we waited 20 minutes or more for a waitress before leaving, no one came and said someone would be with us shortly. The waitresses walked by us many times. A few of the booths need to be repaired to the point that when you sit you sink. The walls and ceiling require a good cleaning. We feel your restaurant needs Robert Irvine for an update.
