This was my first time at North Shack. The service was fantastic. I had foot surgery & it was my first time out in a month. An employee came from behind the counter to my table in the dining room to answer my questions & take my order bc I needed to sit down. I had spicy chicken. It was so good! And the potatoes were crispy on the the outside and soft on the inside.

The chicken here is really good. The way they pressure cook it creates a perfect balance of tender and moist chicken, but also crispy on the outside. It is definitely the best chicken tenders I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The wait is a bit longer than average for chicken tenders, but it is due to how it is cooked. It is fresh and well worth the wait.

Not surprised this place had no patrons when I stopped during dinner rush at 6 pm. Traveling in the area for work and I stopped based on reviews (4.3). Food was subpar. Tried to order the fish and they were out. Settled for chicken and “roasted potatoes”. Potatoes were not roasted. Just unseasoned deep fried potatoe chunks. Then I get my order and see a shelf off to the side with sauces. Any patron can assume that’s where one can select sauces to enjoy with meal, NOPE! I was quickly haulted and told customers are not allowed there, even though it was on the same side as the ordering counter and the only divider was a foldup table that only took up half the walkway with no signs stating other wise. Oh, and i had to pay extra. So even thought I ordered a meal (which already cost $15+), I still had to pay extra for sauce and I wasn’t even given silverware or napkins. Probably charge extra for that also. Advice: save your time and money.

OMG – SO GOOD! We were looking for a place to get ribs for our mother and found this on Google Maps. We got a slab of ribs, fried chicken, broasted potatoes, and coleslaw. All of it was absolutely delicious. Mom ate more than she has in months. The chicken was crispy, moist, and not greasy. Ribs were fall off the bone tender with delicious BBQ sauce. The potatoes were toasty and tasty. Coleslaw was perfect. We ate a lot and had some leftovers. The young man who waited on us was helpful and polite. After we ordered he told us 10 minutes. We had just picked up a new car and went outside to wait. He brought our food out to us. We will most definitely get takeout again at North Shack!

The food there is the best you’ll ever find in this area I especially love the potatoes and barbecue sauce! sadly I left at 3 for the atmosphere because the inside hasn’t been open in for what feels like forever even after covid died down. And the customer service is speedy for how big some of the orders can be.

Got the perch dinner and it was over cooked and hard. It just wasn’t good food. Now I will say north shack chicken strips are great!! All meat but their perch isn’t!
