Okay I’ll get the missing star out of the way… My pork chop was a bit salty. But if that’s the way you like it, you will love this place. And if that’s not the way you like it, you will still love this place! Rob is the founder and proprietor of this place, and he was our server tonight. What a sweet guy and attentive server. We got the pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans, and both sides were perfecto, And we also got this burger special, which was delish. Lots of flavor, plus bacon. And we got the freshly pressed coffee and chocolate ganache dessert, SO GOOD that we briefly forgot that my dad is Type 2. The vibe is so comfortable. The lighting is intimate. I brought my dad here. Bring your mom. Your wife. Your lab partner. Bring them and have a good time.

North Wood Social is a unique spot in the Florence dining culture. The Polish inspired menu is really complete, but other entrees are available if you don’t care for the Polish influence. Our table of 4 eat a varied group of selections. My wife had the ribs, another at our table had a smash burger, one had soup and salad, and I had that great Polish plate. Everything was wonderful. We have been several times and will continue to return for this level of food quality, variety, and great service.

Look, just go get some drinks and food. It’s all good. It’s not a bar with food. It’s not a restaurant with drinks. It’s like an experience or something. Maybe spiritual. Maybe this is the smash burger you’ve been looking for. Search your heart. Order an Under Over(berg) after dinner. Google tells me I need to use the word “atmosphere” so that my review will be read. Excellent hamburger and the cheesecake is awesome! Great selection of local drinks. A quaint place to enjoy a drink with friends. They even have an outdoor seating area and lots of parking in the back. Trivia night on Wednesday!
