I used to eat here frequently in the 1980s. Much to my surprise and pleasure Northern China Restaurant is still operating with its classic recipe delights – and it’s just as good. Affordable price points; diverse Chinese-centric menu; attentive staff; clean and comfortable atmosphere.Delicious and well-worth lunch, dinner, or take-out. And the photos don’t do the taste justice. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in town. The atmosphere was great and service was amazing from a family owned business. We got the fried rice, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken and the general tso chicken. Everything tasted really fresh and good. Within 8 mins our food was received.

This little place is ran by what seems to be a wonderful family. The lady who sat us was extremely friendly, and genuinely seemed to care. The food was very fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. The soup that came with my husband’s meal was amazing too, full of cabbage and zucchini. I will definitely eat here again.

Hands down, bomb food. If you’re hungry and want GOOD fast Chinese on East side of town. I’d recommend this place. I had awesome customer service from a lady who was patient and kind with me while I worked out my order.

Very delicious food! It is made right after you place your order. Portions are amazing! A lot of meat. I used to go to Pink Peppers but meat portions are smaller. A take out from Northern China is enough for two people, you definitely get your moneys worth.

Says delivery but when I called the lady said we had to order for FIVE people. Poor service. I was going to order at least 40-50 worth with a tip but their loss of a customer to be lazy enough to deliver from their location to midtown anchorage. SMH
