Some of the better tasting diner food I’ve had. Polite service. Had to wait a bit for the food but they were pretty busy so that makes sense. Bonus points for the haunted painting hanging in the ladies bathroom.

First visit and it was a great experience start to finish. Quick service, fair prices. Classic diner decorations on the inside; old license plates and both old and new advertising plaques. Fresh bread, cakes and muffins in their own display case up front.

This place sells golden bacon. Tastes like everyone else’s but its $4.75 to add 3 slices to your meal. It’s laughable. But the food was good. If you rich this is a good place to eat

Everything me and my husband got was absolutely delicious! I am from NC so I love sweet tea which is usually not an option up North but they even made me a glass of sweet tea which tasted just like home. Thank you so much for the great food and service there is definitely love put into the making of the fresh bread and everything else here at this restaurant!

Food was great. Staff and service was spot on. Friendly atmosphere. They’re homemade bread is outstanding. Many varieties of bread you can buy by the loaf and they will slice it for you. I purchased the Dutch apple and jalapeño cheddar onion bread. Great for sandwiches.

It is a diner set in the early 60s with pictures of Elvis. It is also has a lot of older pictures with old mustangs and some bugs. They also serve excellent food, which is always fresh and great tasting. The people. There are always friendly, and I would highly recommend going to the small diner over Johnson.

We’ve been eating here for 19 years. Lived on Lakeshore Drive for 10 years and would walk there. My 17 year old has wonderful memories and it’s his favorite. They have homemade hash that is amazing. More homemade breads that you can imagine.

This place was OK, but maybe we are missing something, or maybe it’s just the only breakfast place in Northwood, because it was packed. The homemade bread is very, very good, but everything else was just average. The atmosphere is classic American greasy spoon, but spending 60 bucks for 3 people for breakfast at a place like that doesn’t really sit well. I can’t say we’ll be back, for that price I’d like my home fries to taste like they weren’t from a bag, but it’s perfectly serviceable breakfast fare.

This a nice little diner. I had a nicely cook bacon cheeseburger and my wife had a veggie omelette with the most delicious Dutch apple toast.
