The friendliest place I’ve ever eaten. My grandson and I walked in five minutes before closing and apologized, asked for two desserts to go. They laughed, said “you’re hungry! Sit down!” And brought us menus. Other guests greeted us and we carried on conversations all around the room. Our plates arrived, steaming hot and delicious chicken strips and sweet potato fries. Decided to try their desserts of the day – mint chocolate cream pie and strawberry cake baked by the grandpa chef and served by granddaughter with one of her raspberry cupcakes on the side just because. It’s 120 miles from home but we’ll be back!!

White gravy does not contain pork, which was good for my partner, as he has digestive issues. The interior has a very laid-back, homey atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was so good my partner and i hardly spoke. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

This is the best restaurant in the Boonville area. From burgers to broasted chicken, and all in between, everything is scumptious! The dining area and bathrooms are clean. The servers are friendly and never too busy to answer a question. This is our favorite place to have a meal that we know will meet our expectations EVERY time.
