Met the owner on Avelo plane flight leaving New Castle, DE and he said when you get to Savannah, GA come to my Tavern called Norwoods. I’m glad we did. The burgers were fresh and the wings were great. Jersey/Delaware was in the place to be. You have to check this place out if ever in Savannah.

This is a grest place to be a regular! When we walk in the bartenders have our drinks ready for us, and its always like coming into an old friends place. Food is tasty, drinks are stiff, and the company is great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

After passing by a packed Jalapeno’s I found this hidden Gem. Great barkeep. Very cold beer. Awesome cheeseburger with tater tots. Fast kitchen. Nice ambiance. Very clean locals spot. COVID-19 friendly.

We stopped by on a Monday in early February. Rotisserie chicken day. A meat and three sides for $9. It was excellent! All white meat chicken, green beans cooked with bacon and onion, black eye peas with a light sauce, and mashed with brown gravy.

Hypocrites!! Bartenders can wear tank tops but patrons can’t. The bartender told me I cannot wear a tank top while wearing a tank top. Height of ridiculousness. Posted or not, this is a stupid rule for a dive bar.

Bartender wouldn’t make me a simple drink. Food took half hour . Cook sent on break right after we ordered. Only ordered appts that bartender said took 12 minutes. Horrible place.
