My husband and I finally got to try this restaurant and WOW the food was delicious! Living in nyc and working in a French restaurant when I was younger this restaurant didn’t disappoint. There were quite a bit of classical French options and everything we had was absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp in butter sauce and escargot as appetizers and had so much flavor. Had the lamb chops and filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection and the portion was huge. We only had a few bites of the entree because we were full from the appetizers. One must visit it’s that good esp in Spring Hill! Can’t wait to go back!

An absolute treasure in the middle of Spring Hill . I felt like I stepped into a place in my old hood in New Caanan CT. Decor and atmosphere top notch. Service and knowledge outstanding. Relaxed staff , attentive care and food was flavorful, with perfect textures and aroma and hot when hot and cold when cold!

5 out of 5 on basically everything! Amazing Chef, service, food and drink selection. Absolutely perfect French sauces. Classy yet friendly and approachable atmosphere. There are also quite a few dishes here that you probably couldn’t find anywhere else in Hernando County. A lifetime of experience can be found here.

One of my life’s all time favorite meals!!! Everyone at my table chose different plates and each and everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered. I tasted everything and from the Lamb chops made two different ways (brown sauce and dijon), the veal a la bleu, to the cheese board. Amazing!!!! The wine, the bread, the butter! Even the carrots! Mouthfuls of elegant flavors danced on our tastebuds! We ordered 3 different desserts and… just heavenly. If you get a chance… RUN THERE!

Excellent experience. The small setting was intimate without being claustrophobic. The menu changes so this is based on our experience. With the exception of the Garlic Soup (it didn’t have a robust flavor and minimal seasoning) our appetizers were very tasty. I can’t remember what everyone got but no one complained. For our main course we got a vegetarian platter, rabbit, salmon and snapper. Everyone raved about the flavor of the rabbit and vowed to get it again. The portion sizes, with the exception of the rabbit, were enough to satisfy but not enough to make you full. I took a star away for portion size. The rabbit was more than enough to satisfy an appetite. Dessert was okay. The hot lava chocolate cake was very moist and rich…made to perfection. The very small scoop of ice cream was disappointing. Last but not least I couldn’t give a 4-star rating because the vegetarian platter was a total disappointment, especially when you consider the cost! It consisted of the same carrots, snap peas, and potatoes that everyone else had as their sides and a half tomato with onion, spinach and quinoa with some very mushy bell peppers…That’s it! So, my “meat” was a half tomato. Very disappointing for this class of an establishment. But I would still recommend it for meat-eaters looking for a special occasion establishment. It is NOT recommended for those looking for an inexpensive night out. $$$$$

This food… THIS FOOD! Best food in Florida. Can’t believe I found it in Spring Hill. Everything including the pate appetizer was brilliant. No wonder they were completely booked on a Wednesday. We have been looking for good food in this area for a year. We will be coming here every week. The Cog au Vin and the rack of lamb was excellent!

My husband and I chose this restaurant for our 17th anniversary. I had read about it on NextDoor, and the reviews were good. We would definitely go back for a special occasion.

Very fancy, they have table clothes they wash after each person, so incredibly clean. Our waitress was nice but distracted they had a big table come 30 min early so they got busy with them. The menus are small, they seem to list most things from the waitresses. I think they should put most things on the menu or atleast the sodas. Very expensive place. He got Munk fish said it was amazing he recommends. I got creme bruelle, the top was too soft, its supposed to crack not just softly break apart. It was slightly burnt in parts, its supposed to be a caramelized top it wasn’t more like a marshmallow top crisped. When I told the waitresses she got a bit nasty and said ” bruelle means burnt uk” it means caramelized it wasn’t. Still delicious just wasn’t how I’m used too but the comment really. For one if you look it up in the dictionary, the dictionary it says caramelized. Two I was just saying.

How appropriate! On the 208th Tuesday, exactly 4 years after we met it’s Valentine’s Day!! As we have the last 3 consecutive years we celebrated with the birthday girl Isabelle Roos at Nouvelle Cuisine in Spring Hill. It’s one of the nicest and one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Chef Kinds Jan precise and detailed recreation of the French-Belgian cuisine is a fine dining experience you shouldn’t miss! Since 1999 they have been serving an authentic taste of Europe in this elegant location with the ambiance equal to their delicious food! We started the celebration with a bottle of the 2019 Maison Rosier Champagne from France. As Nadeene Stuart-Horak always likes to toast! It has become our custom to order the Escargot Bourguignon for our appetizer and it was truly amazing! For our entree we decided on the Chateaubriand with the Bearnaise Sauce and as expected it was prepared to perfection! I’m sure the Chateaubriand was the first meal I ordered at Nouvelle Cuisine on my first visit around 20 years ago. If you haven’t been you’re missing a true culinary treat! All of the entrees are served with soup or salad, vegetables and their famous Gratin Dauphinois (which is a secret recipe that they will not share). I asked Isabelle to choose a wine to pair with our meal, as I have no knowledge of European wines and she decided on the 2015 Tour Prignac Grande Reserve from the Bordeaux region of SW France! It was the perfect compliment! For dessert my Tuesday chose the Creme Brulee and I went with the Mascarpone White Chocolate Cheesecake! They were both a perfect way to end our gourmet experience!! Bon appetit!!!
