After a long day of travel, my partner and I stopped at Novanta for dinner. We’ve been wanting to try Novanta’s ‘za for a while, and it was pretty solid. We both ordered the Diavola and we enjoyed it. Neapolitan style pizzas aren’t our favorite variation of pizza, but Novanta does Neapolitan well. The service was great and the wait for the food was pretty short. I appreciated the red pepper flake and parm shakers – the pizza needed a little spicing up. I think a little spice or seasoning would really elevate the Diavola, but it was still quite tasty.

The first visit here was 4 star, I think the pizza was just undercooked. Latest visit was definitely 5 star. Pizza was perfect, took 12-13 min for takeout from time of order. The Alice sans onion was a great new try. Very savory. Pizzas are about enough for 2 ppl with salad for lunch. Smallish but priced lower too at 10-14 each. Try a couple.

Edited to add: We had a bad experience that got turned around by the owner’s amazing care and attention to our experience, and the wonderful staff. 100% would support this business again because of the caring people. They went above and beyond to take care of us and earn our trust. The food our second visit was really top notch, super fresh and flavorful. And the crust was the perfect texture, chewy but still crisp on the edges. It’s pricier than your delivery chains, but I care more about supporting good people in the community than giving my money away to chains. We’ll be regulars from here on out.

Pizzas are pretty good here, although beware of anything with red sauce—they claim to use San Marzano tomatoes but don’t (SM’s aren’t nearly as acidic as the tomatoes they use—my guess is they’re too pricey to import).
