Great Italian spot. The staff and owner were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and fresh. BYOB is also a bonus. You will get a big portion of hearty delicious food. You can tell they care about the food and the people they serve. I highly recommend it.

Very good experience here! Staff was extremely friendly and our waiter definitely made the experience. My friend and I got calamari as an appetizer and it was so good we devoured it! I don’t remember what my friend ordered (since we went last week) but I got the Chicken Parm and they were very generous with the amount of food that you probably will have leftovers. Food was great and their sauce is really good as well! 5/5 rating for this place. Worth a stop if you’re in the mood for Italian food and visiting. They also have pizza there as well!

Just finished an incredible dinner here. Our waiter Craig was outstanding on every level. He asked how we wanted the food paced and did not rush us at all. He left time in between our courses so we had time to digest a little bit and truly enjoy each dish that was in front of us. All of the things we ordered were delicious. Meatballs, rice balls, mussels, drunken chicken pizza, chicken parm over linguine and homemade cannolis. I cannot wait to come back!

We are a group from Diamond Bus Tours that originated from Oak Ridge/Knoxville, Tennessee area…although since 2004 I myself lived in Tennessee, I am forever a Jersey girl…. Lived in Jersey from birth 1960-2004 …..But I also love Tennessee too…..I spent the first 44 years of my life in The Garden State…and I wanted to give my Tennessean friends a true experience in an authentic Jersey Italian Restaurant and I got nothing but fantastic feedback from all of my Tennessee friends.

Service was great, thank you Craig. Bathroom was clean. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious. We ordered a variety of food to try: eggplant meatballs were rich and seasoned well with a deliciously crisp outside. The Cabernet was smooth and tasty. The pizza’s crust was thin and crisp and the cheese was good- not too greasy. The Lasagna both meat and eggplant had just the right amount of seasoning. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

Pizza is excellent, especially the thin Sicilian, and the parm knots are amazing. Not a full 5 stars on the service because there is a little lack of consistency (about 1/4 of the time the knots are overcooked, or don’t have enough cheese or they forget the marinara) and it takes a bit long for the food to be ready. I often order parm knots and two slices and they always tell me 25 minutes and I always wait at least 10 more min when I get there. I have not eaten in the dining room yet but it looks like a decent atmosphere. Definitely think this is one of the best pizza spots in Bergen!

I don’t normally complain about restaurants but we had ordered the family meal from novinos and asked if we could change the sauce, they said yes on the phone. When we picked it up there was an extra 10$ charge for changing the sauce, which no one had mentioned on the phone. We told them had we known we wouldn’t have changed it, however we paid it & asked if they could atleast accomodate giving us marinara sauce with our garlic knots (which costs 1$) and they couldn’t. Customer service was not accommodating, we usually order from here but will be looking elsewhere now.

Mahwah owned and operated. Opened one Christmas Day to feed firemen responding to a fire. Everything on the menu is excellent. The owners come into the dining area to check on the customers. The short rib is amazing and a family favorite for us. There’s really nothing more to add; worth a visit.
