I only went in for pupusas for my sister, I wasn’t planning on getting any myself, but I must say by the time I got to her home I was craving them. On my way back from her house I stop by Nueva San Salvador #5 on Flagler and 97th Ave. Not only did I get pupusas but also sopa de res. OMG I think I had a tear in my eye the soup brought me back memories when my grandma used to make it back home in El Salvador. The best I had after my grandma’s of course definitely will be going back…almost forgot the pupusas were really good and huge compare to others I had that were more expensive and smaller I will definitely continue coming back to this little piece of my homeland.

Came in on a Wed night and the place was empty. Ordered 3 pupusas, a ceviche, a baleada, and 3 tacos. It took almost 40 mins for the food to arrive. The Tacos were cold. The shrimp ceviche tasted like ketchup and had 2 pieces of shrimp in it. The waitress forgot to order the baleadas and didnt tell us until almost an hour had gone by and we asked twice. Over all a really terrible experience. The pupusas were ok.

Brand new restaurant in West Kendall! I ordered the huevos mezclados con chorizo and a chicharron pupusa and the portion was great for the price! Only spent $10 and the huevos mezclados came with beans, cream, quajada, 2 big tortillas, picantes and ensalada. The pupusa was huge and filled very generously. The restaurant is only open 11AM-7PM for the time being but their hours will be extended once they are able to hire more staff. My family and I will definitely be ordering out and eating at the restaurant after having an excellent first impression.

Very tasty food and affordable prices. Just one thing I would suggest is to open a bit earlier or close a bit late, they’re literally open 8 hrs when most of their competition is open 12 hrs at least. I would love to have me some baleadas on my way to work. Other than that, the food is delicious! Good Job guys!!

This is a new restaurant that just opened a few weeks ago, the food is excellent, the prices are excellent too. Service is good, the inside is average, will give 3 Star. But the rest is excellent. Very good central America food. Recommended.
