Everything was incredible! From the homemade jalapeño rellenos to the jalapeño margaritas. My wife couldn’t decide between 2 dishes, so the waitress off 2 halves – pollo chipotle and pollo florentine. I had the chimichanga marinara with a nice cream sauce. Next time (and there definitely will be one) we’ll leave room for dessert.

Finally tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I’m so glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious. There’s lots to choose from so I already have ideas for what I’ll try next time. The vibe was also very relaxing and laid back and the staff was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend trying the shrimp flautas if you like seafood! Can’t wait to go back!

Great staff, family friendly. Good mixture of Spanish pop music goes well with the atmosphere. Enjoyed the warm, mildly spicy salsa. Food was delicious with an abundance of flavor. Alcohol drinks were a reasonable amount for the price. However, I would consider them to add more A/C to the bathroom and adding a changing table. Overall good experience. Will definitely be visiting again.

I had high hopes for this restaurant. The decor matches a relaxing old style family restaurant. The food was served quickly and came out hot. The only major problem was everything was bland. I had the tamales plate and there was no configuration of how it was served. The presentation was nice. My advice to the establishment have the cook to tatse everything, and don’t be afraid to use a little seasoning.

This place is so good!! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Amazing experience from the time we entered to the time we left. We ordered the Chili con Carne queso to start and it was very tasty. Loved the salsa (which is served warm)—- new to me but I absolutely loved it. We also ordered the brisket tacos (delicious) and sour cream enchiladas! Both entrees were very tasty!! Definitely recommend this place!!!

A hole in the wall…literally. It took 25 minutes for them to serve us two meals with very few people in the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. Ordered a side of guacamole with the tortilla chips and was served a table spoon of guacamole. The air conditioning wasn’t working so it was hot inside on a hot summer day in Texas. Save your money and time folks.

We haven’t been to the restaurant in years and decided to give it a try. We ordered the pollo en vino and mole verde and we did not like either one. The chicken en vino is a very thin chicken cutlet that was cooked to shoe leather and the mole verde had absolutely not taste. Disappointing.

This was our first time to eat at Nuevo León Mex-Mex, but not the last! This is not your typical Tex Mex restaurant, which shouldn’t be a surprise since the Mex Mex is in the name. From the margaritas to the queso and every entree we had, the flavors were fresh and authentic. They have a long list of margaritas and a surprisingly large vegetarian menu. Everything was delicious! We also received great service from the wait staff. Definitely worth the trip, I’d highly recommend Nuevo León Mex-Mex Restaurant!
