The falafel was so so good — definitely the thing to order here! It was fried to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior. And that vibrant green color!! The shawarma fries were good, and the hummus was super smooth and luscious. The hummus bowl was a reallllyyyy underwhelming, though. I’m glad I got an extra side of the beet salad because it really needed some brightness. The side portion was incredibly scant, too, for the cost. The mint lemonade also tasted just like regular lemonade. Overall, I’d get the falafel again, but I felt the meal I ordered was super overpriced for the lack of flavor (especially the mushroom shawarma).

Great hummus! It tastes like a better kava. The food was good, as was the price. Excellent shaded outdoor seating with clean digs and a stylish atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back. I will definitely be taking friends back for a light meal at some point.

Not only is Nura one of my favorite places to eat in Portland, they have the best falafel I’ve eaten outside of the Middle East. Light, crispy, and perfectly delicious! Also their hummus and tahini are so on point, I could straight drink it. Do yourself a favor and just eat there. You will not regret it.

I am absolutely floored, having just eaten one of the best meals of my life. an instant favorite from first bite. I’m passing through town and came across this place my chance (or by the providence of god) and ordered a hummus bowl with felafel and yogurt sauce. for a meal so simple to be as outstanding as it was, one can only credit keen attention to detail and the dedication of the cooks&chefs to perfecting each component of the dish. creamy hummus complemented by tahini, the crisp felafel and tomato, crunchy cucumber and sour garlicky yogurt sauce – salt, fat, acid, and heat balanced perfectly. I scooped a bit of each ingredient into the pita, and cannot recommend this method enough, as each bite was perfect. my service was 5 star, and food came fast, but it would have been well worth a wait. thank you, nura staff, for this wonderfully delicious meal!

Tried the falafel pita, the zatar pita and thr chicken shawarma pita. Portion size is extremely filling. The falafel pita has the perfect blend of sauce and salad. Highly recommended. Great for grab and go or dine in as well. Staff are friendly and happy to explain the menu in detail. I will definitely be visiting again

absolutely scrumptious. hard for me to settle for falafel or pita from anywhere else now. vegan options available and a decent amount of standalone to go items as well. service is fast enough to make this an ideal spot for a workday lunch. i only wish the menu was bigger because it’s so delicious!

I never visited their food truck, but Nura’s location at monument square is fantastic. All their offerings are vegan and extremely satisfying. The dish pictured in my review in the cauliflower shawarma hummus bowl (which I highly recommend!) When I visited it was a weekday at around lunch and we were barely able to find seating which is usually a good sign. I was not disappointed and loved my dish and the uniquely refreshing mint lemonade. Also as an added convenience, all their prices include tax and are to the even dollar. Can’t wait to go back to try their other flavor combinations.
