While on a trip to Boston had to try this popular Restaurant. As you walk in your greeted warmly. The menu is a Turkish style so most things are meant to be shared. The salads are very large and filling and any of the special side table presentations are very enjoyable and well worth the show. I was very happy with the service the food.

This is my first time ever at any of Salt bae aka Nusr-Et steakhouse! Overall it was a wonderful experience, by a mile far the best stake ever. We had a Thomas hock for 2, the meat was perfectly cooked medium rare as requested. The burgers for kids were beyond delicious that even my picky eater finished it all! For me as a vegetarian I didn’t have much options but I have to say the Nusr-Et salad was the most delicious salad I ever had, the olive oil taste in the salad was great and made me feel full after having salad! The portions were quite large so don’t order many starters! The Turkish coffee ☕️ oh my goodness it was THE BEST Turkish coffee I had since a while! The smell was all over our table.

We came here “just for dessert” . End up ordering some appetizers. The price is quite high but when they bring out the food, you understand why. The appetizers are really huge and you can definitely share. And they do a little show to justify the price I guess. But I like it . I love love the desserts they serve. You can’t go wrong with any choice !

The restaurant was dead on a Saturday night which was a bit spooky. Overall, very low value. The service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive and nice. The pricing? Despicable. The part that really got me was that my party got billed for water… $144 for water. We never asked for fancy water, but we got charged for it. Not to mention, the water wasn’t even listed on the menu.

I ordered a Nusr-Et burger for the main course, and baklava and tea for dessert. The quality of the burger was good (7 out of 10 ). Baklava was Perfect !!!! However the money you will be paying is not worth the experience you are going to get. Recommend this place for once or twice a year only.

Nusr-Et Boston has extraordinary interiors, high ceilings, unique restrooms with pheasants on glass panelled doors. However, I found the menu prices high and the service to be middling. There is a mandatory gratuity of 18%, regardless of the size of the party. Within earshot, a server said to another employee that 18% is for average service, after picking up my final credit card receipt that showed I didn’t add any additional tip.

First thing we saw after walking in was Salt Bae merchandise, which gave tourist trap vibes, not high end celebrity steakhouse vibes. We were promptly seated at our reservation time. Unlike the NYC location, the Boston dining room had a lot of outside light coming in and did not feel romantic. Service was efficient and accurate, but did not feel inviting or friendly. There was no mention of our anniversary despite my notes in the reservation. There was no explanation of the menu or any other interaction with our servers besides taking our order, bringing out our food, and taking our payment. There were no performances other than a flaming lime in one drink, a salt sprinkle on the steak, and a single flip of the ice cream in the golden baklava. The bill came out to $339.19 before tip for two drinks, a ribeye steak, a filet mignon, two sides, a Caesar salad, one golden baklava, and one sparkling water. In my opinion, this was significantly more expensive than similar food at comparable restaurants. The quality, flavor, and accuracy of the food was excellent. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant.
