We were drawn by the reviews but when we pulled up the restaurant was very unassuming. We were greeted outside with a host asking if we had a reservation and we confirmed that we did. The host immediately showed us to our table- and already we knew by the atmosphere and food that we were in the right place. The water and wine service was impeccable. Mandy offered the specials and a few recommendations (two of which we took advantage of) and all were beyond delicious. Highly recommend, save room for bread pudding dessert!

I’m reviewing this establishment with joy. This is now in my top 5 favorite places to eat in Florida, and I have been everywhere. Every time I have visited the food is top tier, Michelin quality! Delicious, fresh, vibrant flavor. This is the perfect spot for a date night with someone who enjoys great food, or even for a beautiful meal out with the family. It doesn’t matter the occasion, if you enjoy top quality food and a cute peaceful setting you will leave feeling happy and refreshed, and this will become one of your staples as it has become one of mine. Probably some of the best food in all of Winter Haven. The staff and chef there know what they are doing. You can’t go wrong with any of the food items there. Always fresh and exciting new food options. I recommend the burger special a the kale salad at lunch. Also, the best brunch around on Sundays. If they have it, get the cinnamon roll.

Stopped at Nutwood a few weekends back and it was absolutely lovely. It’s a true hidden gem in Winter Haven. The Pickled Beet Carpaccio with Goat Cheese was a nice starter and the Braised Short Ribs with Kimchi Rice (seasonal item) packed a flavorful punch. My girlfriend had the Chorizo Tostada which was also tasty. We finished it off with the Caramel Bread Pudding but it’s not pictured because we ate it in record timing lol. We’ll be back.

Wife and I had a great time here. High end eats 🙂 we will be back for sure. Chicken and waffles are the best in town. The pimento burger is the bomb. Servers are awesome! Endless Mimosa, nuff said. Also, no mater how you think you like your food, trust the chef and eat your meals the way they where meant to be served. (Edit) dinner was amazing!! Pork chop was like no other I have ever tasted. Octopus was so tender and flavorful! Thank you.

I took a ‘ME’ day and treated myself. Food and atmosphere was wonderful. Wine was so nice I had to purchase a bottle for take home. My favorite Gem of a restaurant. Menu is perfect how it should be. Not a fan of menus with 15 + choices for the main course. should be just a few choices made to perfection which they were. ‘Ask Gordon Ramsey, he agrees’. Only criticism is that the arugula could have been washed a bit better, had some grit/dirt on a few pieces which is not fun to bite into. service was great, was not rushed at all. was there to relax which I needed more than anyone knew.

First, let me say they are dog friendly, nice patio dining. GREAT food, good service. Brunch was delicious. Went for dinner last week with two friends. We split 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and we each got our own dessert. (Priorities…must have room for dessert!)
