Tasty, but too expensive at $15.95 for a bunch of fish cakes, spicy fried chicken, butter melon, croquette, and mac salad (no rice). Sounds like a lot of food, but look at the photo! Before starting, I kept thinking I should’ve gone to L&L instead for some freshly prepared hot food.

They renovated not so long ago. The space is even bigger and not overwhelming like the old space. The interior made me feel like home and very refreshing. The food is still as fresh and tasty ever since. Aunty gave me a fresh banana (so kind and friendly). One negative thing is the food kinda cold but I have no problem with that since I eat cold pizza and burgers all the time.

Mrs, daughter and I were starving after a long dr’s appointment. Ordered cone sushi, shoyu pork, kimpira, corned beef hash, konbu Maki and chow funn. We were disappointed with the shoyu pork which was shredded and lacked flavor. Chow funn was plain with little else but noodles. The kimpira was very spicy so Mrs couldn’t eat due to acid reflux. Good flavor for the cone sushi. Konbu Maki was OK as were the hash patties.

Food is just ok. Seemd to be better before. Good selection of foods, however…. Fried saimin was dry with little taste. Mochiko chix was ok. Hamburger dry. Omelette dry. The SPAM was good though! Haha! The owner is really not friendly or even nice. He never welcomes you or even thanks you for your business. It kinda pains me to go there cuz the food is meh, but the servers are always really nice. Owner needs to at least ACT a little grateful for your business.

Walk by everyday and always see delicious food in the front display case and today I finally decided to stop in and give it a shot. It was a wise move on my part because the food was AMAZING. Whatever sauce they put on top of the fried chicken I had was soo ono! I will definitely be going back. The staff was very friendly and the prices were great! I would see recommend this place to anyone who like Japanese BBQ!
