If you are a seafood lover like I am and you’re in the Landover Maryland area please stop by this 202 icon! NY Chicken and Fish have many platters where you and other person can dine for a little over $20.00. The sides are fresh the rice is cooked to perfection and the fish taste as if it was just caught.

I’m from NY but I have family in MD that’s not too far from this location, that recommended this place, NY Chicken & Fish. It’s a clean & quaint establishment with an approximate 6-9 table seating area that’s cozy. My family & I ordered take out & had the fried fish & a Philly cheesteak sandwich (all with fries) & we loved it all!

White people definitely made the Mac and cheese. It’s 100% canned “Great Value” collards and the chicken is basic. I’m from upper NJ , the city , 20mins from NY by train. I 100% know good food when I taste it. Pass on this place if you can….

I’ve been working in the area for about 3 months and this is the only place I come back to over and again. The chicken is great, fried fish is fantastic, burger the size of a whopper but reminds me flavor wise of a Krystal. Portions are huge and reasonably priced. Staff are always super friendly and helpful if an order is made wrong.

I would like to give a Zero stars unfortunately there’s no option for. My family and I were actually going to Popeyes and my wife saw the place and we decided to stop by. The lady on the cashier was super rude. Trust me I’m a store manager for a foods business and I actually hate to do this. First of all, she decide to lock the doors 3 or 5 minutes before 9pm. For me this is not acceptable is like stealing because you taking money away from your company. Decide to put people outside and asked them to wait for theirs orders outside at the windows with no manners. She has long fake nails yes she will told me I’m not working in the kitchen but doesn’t matter. My wife order a fish over rice and I want the 6 pieces legs and tight and she literally told me we out of that we are not cooking anymore with a rudeness attitude. My wife like the food however I believe this was our first and last experience.
