Hands down my favorite place to eat in RGV and probably all of Texas. As someone who is from Seattle and visited New York a few times, this place is as authentic and delicious as it gets. Their pastrami and corn beef sandwich called “The King” has got to me the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ve probably ordered it at least ten times over the last year and it hits the spot every time.

If you haven’t you really should! This is the low carb plate, with added American cheese, grilled onions, and bacon!!! 100% you should try it!! Their soups are also amazing, best cream of potato soup I’ve ever had!! If you like a grilled cheese Sammie ask for a grilled cheese with ham and add bacon, it will not disappoint! Staff is always on point! Be prepared if you go during lunch hour or the weekend! Worth it!

This place was amazing & delicious. The meat is delivered from suppliers in NY fresh every morning and sliced on-site (bonus less likely you’ll get food poisoning from this place & the quality is better). Everything was amazing we’ll be regulars. Plus the staff was fun, polite, & very attentive to customers needs. Excellent place. So glad I accidentally stumbled on it when I typed in the search bar last week.

I have been here only a handful of times but quick easy and delicious every time on my visits. Today I had a sauerkraut hotdog that was very tasty. I really enjoyed it sat upstairs it was nice and quiet up there and drank a cream soda. the beatles decor is cool too. Servers are kind and polite

Every time I come here is perfect. I’m always greeted like I’ve been known for years. The owner remembers me and asks how my newborn and wife are. It’s just a great atmosphere. And the food speaks for itself. It’s always fresh, and always great. I will always drive the 30 minutes it takes to get here. I’ll always recommend NY Deli to anyone and everyone. This place rocks!
