I ordered a range of items since I am staying in a hotel and wanted to put a few thing in the fridge for lunch and dinner the next day. I had to give everything a little taste test…the only thing I have no complaints about are the French fries. The lobster Mac and cheese tasted like it was made with imitation crab and not lobster, the baby back ribs…I don’t know what the heck those were because the meat taste fake, I took one bite and threw them away. The chili was decent but the flavor was a little off and the mashed potatoes tasted instant, the brown gravy was good.

The pits. I just spent $50.00 on crap. The wings were dry and also the tacos.

The food on the multiple occasions I’ve dined here was pretty descent. Temperature, taste and presentation were acceptable, I’d give it a 3.75 stars (for food). However, it’s the service that needs a total overhaul. The service I’d give a 2.25 stars (seems I never know what I’m gong to get… good? or bad?? service). And I really hate to say it, but it starts at the top with your manager. Most times I’ve seen the guy he’s either outside (near the parking area, by the door -smoking I guess) or leaning on the edge of the bar as if to be watching everything (i.e., people, TV, the floor, the ceiling, etc…you name it) but doing absolutely “nothing”. Leadership provides a path for others to follow. This gentlemen who may simply lack the necessary training to lead is where you will see your greatest improvement. It’ll trickle down to the wait staff. The service staff can be improved immensely if there were a definitive training program that everyone followed making the service delivered appear seamless, regardless of the waiter or waitress on duty. Here’s an example, “On one occasion I went in for dinner. We were a total party of 4. The waiter (a young man) who showed us to our table. He then took 20 mins to bring us water and another 25 minutes to return and take our order and not once came by after bringing our entrees to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything further, like napkins which we never got until I went to the little cubby door that I saw him going in and out of (repeatedly) and got them myself. Oh, and not to mention there was only one other table occupied at this time which was a party of 2.” THEN, on two completely separate visits, ” I was dining alone and the waitress (a young lady) and waiter (an older gentleman) provided the level of service I would anticipate in dining at a sit down restaurant. They were most friendly, attentive, courteous and attempted to ensure I enjoyed my meal and had a pleasant dining experience – which to me signifies they want me to come back again…”for the experience.” Mr. Owner, you really do have a wonderful restaurant in terms of its energy, ambiance, variety and decor (fireman suits, hats, boots, pics, nice large TVs, clean restrooms, clean floors, tables etc.) however, if you don’t make the change or improvement, the customers will make the change for you and stop dining at your establishment. I genuinely like the restaurant, its convenient, its clean, the food is pretty descent but the inconsistencies are a factor and should seriously be looked into.

Clean, comfortable, fun menu. I wouldn’t say it’s the BEST food I’ve ever eaten, but definitely on par with other restaurants in the area.

Not too crowded on a Friday. Drink prices were fairly reasonable. I’d come back.
