The only restaurant you have to stop by for a tour of the Oak Valley sugarcane farm. The food was soso and the service was soso. On the other hand, Gift Shop had a lot of fun things to see. What I felt here was observing the servers. It was clear that there was a server that worked hard and a server that only did hip service. I only give them three stars in the hope that they won’t be spoiled anymore.

We decided to shop and then have a snack after our plantation tour. The fried green tomatoes topped with crawfish tails and sauce was over the top with flavor. The mint tea was not overly sweet and so refreshing. Light batter but seasoned very well. The waitress was lovely

This restaurant has surprisingly good food. The sampler Cajun plate was a great option to be able to try all of the Cajun entrees. The red beans and rice was a favorite for us though. We finished off our meal with buttermilk pie, which was also good. Skylor took great care of us. If you’re touring during lunch time, take a break here and you won’t be disappointed.

Quick bite after walking around the plantation. Pricey but it is good food. I had the pasta with chicken ( chicken was kinda weird tasting but the pasta was delicious! We tried their bourbon pecan pies, my husband enjoyed it. Not much to my liking. He had the fish platter that he enjoyed. 9/10 would recommend

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon after our tour of Whitney Plantation nearby. Seated right away (for 2) and ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT with Wedge Fries and the Fried Chicken Cheese Pasta – everything was SO delicious! We also got the sampler of Juleps (Classic Mint, Lemon, and Frozen Raspberry). We liked the Raspberry one best!

After your tour of the plantation come eat here. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and great food. We started off with 2 appetizers, the seafood su gratin and spinach artichoke dip. Both were delicious but the seafood su gratin was my favorite. Next we had the Cajun medley that came with etoufee, gumbo and andouille sausage. It was all delicious and a great option if you want to try a little bit if everything. We finished with the chocolate pecan pie, which was rich but delicious.

After our Big House tour, we got a little hungry and noticed the restaurant on site. We got the Sweet Mint Iced Tea, and it was so refreshing. We shared the Shrimp Poboy, and this was the best poboy! The shrimp was crispy and the fries were potato wedges but so good! They were kind enough to already split our meal in half on separate trays. Such a perfect meal to end our NOLA trip. The plantation itself was stunning and so breathtaking!

Quick lunch after the plantation tour. The chicken Gumbo was okay .. lack of punch and too oily for me. Service and the ambiance were great.

Delicious! Most places that provide tours have decent restaurants, or no restaurant or at all! Not this place; they actually put effort into the food and service. The mint iced tea and the fried shrimp poboy were absolutely delicious. Definitely go here after the tour. It’s not everyday you can say you’ve had lunch on a plantation!

I had just done several tours nearby and was on the verge of hanger. You know the feeling. You are so hungry you are ready to bite someone to get food in your mouth and are becoming angry. I got the stuffed baked potato with etouffe and cheese. It was delightful. The custard pie was amazing. The wait staff were friendly and quick on the beverage refills. I recommend this restaurant to those taking tours nearby.
