The food at Oak+Ash is amazing! Ignore any sketchy reviews, and try it for yourself! We were in Memphis for Spring Break, and this BBQ was hands down better than anything we ate there.

This place deserves more than sub 4 stars. The servers were super friendly right off the bat, and checked up on us frequently. The food was INCREDIBLE! The brisket was very well cooked and good proportions for what you pay. Overall an amazing experience. I wish this establishment well, and keep up the good work.

So the first time we visited and what a great experience. A few of the older reviews are not accurate. Starting with the staff , friendly prompt , professional and very helpful because We wanted to try a few different things, so for appetizers ,burnt ends on waffle fries with brisket chill was a real winner ! My wife had The smoked chicken salad it was fresh and delicious, I had the brisket burger it was fantastic ! We were told that They are starting a Sunday brunch menu this weekend so we will be back soon to try brunch …. So many things to try .

I don’t understand why this place has such low reviews. Wife and I went for lunch there for our first time. Got the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, brisket burnt ends Mac and cheese. And the wife got the brisket gravy and biscuits. Food was excellent, very tasty and big portions. Staff very friendly and we received our food quite quickly, even though they were fairly busy. Will definitely go back again.

Legit BBQ. Great brisket and 21-day aged smoked pastrami! Smoked turkey is another standout. But all the meats have great flavor with no sauce needed. The sampler is a great way to go and is plenty of meat for two. Enjoyed the house potato salad and waffle fries, and in summer the super fresh local greens make for a phenomenal side salad. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cold beer and good cocktails.

Chicken and waffles were some of the best I’ve ever had! I really appreciated that they use chicken strips so you can easily get a little of both on one fork! Delicious! Service was solid too, no complaints there, and I really dug the atmosphere too. Only tiny complaint would be the music is a tad loud but that might just be a me thing

Omg ! Amazing place & an even more cooler history of how menu , name , etc came about . Food was scary good …. So good I ate my food , app & 2 drinks before taking a picture . (Which I never do ) disappointing part of me dining with my mother was all the flies by the window , swatting while we ate . Boxed up my food & brought home a fly ! Uggh so disappointed. Had to throw away a Togo porky due to a fly swimming in it . I really have to crave the food to go back .

We had taco flights which were suggested to try. There was supposed to be a salsa Verde avecado sauce with it that was forgotten. Tacos were basically a lot of cheese with an ounce and half or so of smoked meat. Tacos were pretty bland( even with dipping sauce. Chefs and kitchen workers are not perfect can make a mistake once in awhile but inquired at the tacos had all the ingredients listed?

Great new restaurant with excellent customer service, delicious food, and ambiance. Pulled pork nachos had a lot of flavor with generous toppings. Smoked brisket burger was heavenly. Burger was juicy and just melted in the mouth. Brisket was very tender. Highly recommend this new restaurant in downtown Dawagiac!
