It is a nice place. We were seated in the bar area, the waitress was very friendly and helpful and checked in with us often. We got to meet the general manager, whom was well dressed and very friendly as well and I observed him watching what was going on making sure things were running well and guests were happy. The alligator appetizer was hands down the best out of everything we ordered, it was tender and the jalapeño cream sauce and the bed of BBQ corn the pieces laid on were a nice compliment to it. We also got the ultimate appetizer platter deal, which was alright. My friend got the grouper and he said the fish was very good and the mustard aoili was as well though the rice bed the grouper sat on was bland. I ordered chili and it was really good as well. The portions were quite small and the price was quite high, but they do a lot of local sourcing so that will be more expensive for them therefore making it more expensive for the consumer. I will be back for some more of that delicious alligator at some point!

This is a hidden treasure right here in your backyard. We travel hours to eat out on our date nights. This has moved up our list and we have been here several times. It can be a little on the pricey side but not really if you really compare it to other steak houses of this level. Love the atmosphere. Can be on the dresser side or shorts and tee shirt you fit in. If you are in the area this is a must stop.

My husband took me out to dinner for my birthday. We were immediately greeted and seated in the bar area. Placed our orders within five minutes of arriving. After waiting an hour for our food, it wasn’t the greatest. I ordered my burger done not charred and it was hard to chew. My husband had meatloaf that wasn’t as good as the last time we came here. Staff were very friendly but the wait for mediocre food wasn’t appreciated. It was also very loud and we couldn’t hold a conversation because of the noise level.
