What a pleasant surprise! I stopped in at the Oak Barrel late afternoon. It was a cool oasis on a hot day. I tried their Paloma which was made with some fresh mint. It was delicious! Their Salmon Ciabatta Sandwich was also very tasty. The sandwich had a generous portion of nicely cooked salmon that was perfectly seasoned. I chose a side of fries that were also delicious. Anthony recommended the Guinness Chocolate Cake for dessert. The cake was not overly sweet and was served with vanilla ice cream. I couldn’t have asked for better service. Anthony took great care of me – he checked back with me to ensure I was enjoying everything. Kudos to the Oak Barrel of Eagle for a great experience!

It was our first time dining at Oak Barrel on Saturday evening. We had no reservation, and surprisingly when we arrived there were no people inside the restaurant on Saturday at 7:30 pm, but there were several people dined at the patio.

The service was great and we appreciated the friendly waitress and prompt attention to our table. Overall we had a great time and our family was treated well. The environment is nice and a place that made me feel quite comfortable. Relaxing and elegant but not too fussy. But unfortunately the food was pretty mediocre. My children liked their food, but neither my husband or myself enjoyed our entrees. This place has a lot of potential, but needs a new chef to update the menu to rely on technique over heavy sauces. A place that is known for house made sauces and gf options should have an authentic gravy and not one that tastes like it came from a mix. A “marinaded steak with chimichurri” should not have any gravy at all. It should certainly not serve an old-fashioned with a red food dye laden cherry. At this price, I would expect more awareness of authentic cuisine, appealing plating, general health consciousness and well crafted cocktails.

Our waitress was quick and attentive to our needs! The salmon Caesar salad was delicious! The salmon was thick and juicy. The charcuterie was good. I am not a fan of certain cheeses, but most of the items on the board were fun and tasty.

Guys the food is great. Burgers are best. Beer is real good on a hot afternoon. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed visiting this place

My wife and I went there on a Saturday early evening for dinner. This was our first time and we decided on trying it because of all the gluten free options they had available.

Horrible experience! Dined there on July 28 with another couple. Started out with our server not bringing the bread and oils plate we confirmed we wanted. Had to flag down a different server to get it. Ordered a side of asparagus a la carte, which we never received. They rushed the entrée to the table before we could finish our salads. I ordered a New York steak rare and received one medium well. Had to flag down another server because ours was not coming around. The second steak i ordered was cooked medium, which I ate, but it had very little flavor (certainly not what you would expect for $42). Another guest dining with us ordered the scallops, which she had ordered numerous times before, and they were too spicy for her to eat. At this point, I will not be spending my limited eating out budget at Oak Barrel in the future.

The server was very slow, even though only three tables were seated. She was chewing gum the whole time! I am not sure I have ever seen a place that charges $42 for a steak have wait staff this bad. After 1 1/2 hours and then finally being asked if we wanted to put in an entree order (after waiting 20min for our charcuterie appetizer) we decided to just pay for the appetizer and go across the street to the German place instead.

Oak Barrel Lounge is a sports bar lounge. It features a large bar with lots of seating for individuals or large groups. The walls have big screen TV, making it a great place to catch the big game. There are also pool tables and tall tables where people can talk, play, and enjoy their favorite drink. The lights in the lounge are dim, closer to what you would expect in a bar than a restaurant. The lounge is connected by an inside hallway to the Oak Barrel Restaurant, offering sit down meals and a classy atmosphere. The sports lounge and restaurant offer specials on hamburger and a few other items on Monday nights. Bathrooms are clean and well taken care of.
