Nice place right off the expressway. I stopped in for breakfast and had the skillet platter. The skillet was very good. The vegetables we’re not over cooked. The green peppers were still a bit crunchy. There were very few people in the restaurant yet it took a bit to get served. Very friendly though.

One of our regular haunts in our home town! The patio is very nice when the weather permits. A good, well-rounded menu featuring the usual selection and a few Oak Inn – specific favorites. Some breakfast items are available all day. My favorite – $2 bloodys from 10a-noon on Sat & Sun! The decor is typical for a small town and has some custom-painted artwork, a nice touch. Once they get to you know they’ll treat you like family – the good side of the family! Great service with a smile.

My husband and I went out to dinner with his folks tonight! No wait getting in to sit down. Our waitress was AMAZING! Refilling drinks and getting our order in right away! Great customer service! Really good fish dinner and burgers! We will definitely be going back!

Ok the food is great. Clean bathrooms. Cute and cozy inside. Sports bar inside. Reasonable prices. Outside seating. Don’t go when they are having a shift change. My guest and I had finished eating and waited at least 15 minutes for someone to come with our check. We put our jackets on and had to go track someone down. Then that person went and got our waitress. I gave her my credit card, she walked away and came back with a receipt and walked away. I wasn’t even sure if it was paid for, but the person left. When I checked my statement online I saw that the transaction was pending. Meanwhile three gentlemen had been ignored this entire time waiting to order their meals. Sloppy customer service there, but the food is great! I would recommend this place to others. Nice couples place or adult place. Not sure if they have stuff for kids or not.

We went to the Oak Inn on a Friday night about 6pm. There was no wait to be seated. The woman who brought us to our table wasn’t friendly. Our waitress seemed extremely busy but did take care of our needs. The waitress was somewhat friendly. She didn’t smile though. I ordered a hamburger and it was good. I liked that there were peanuts on the table

My friend and I stopped in for lunch around 1pm on a Wednesday. Not too busy at that time. Great service with friendly staff. Food was delicious! I had the bacon, blue cheese burger with sweet potato tater tots. My friend order the chicken wrap with fries and she loved her meal also.

Our food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our table we had the omelettes, steak and eggs and cajun steak Benedict. The steak was tender and juicy. The bloody Mary’s were spicy, delicious, awesome. Angie was our server. She was so friendly, helpful, and checked on us frequently. We definitely will come back.

We have been here before, about a year ago, and it was good enough to decide to come for dinner tonight. Such a disappointment! Service was slow and the staff seemed disinterested in serving. We ordered a beer and got an entirely different one than what we ordered. My daughter couldn’t eat her salad and said the dressing tasted off so we passed that information along to the waitress who didn’t offer a different dressing or anything else and just said “huh, I wonder why” and walked away (the salad had not been touched or eaten at all). The food came slow, maybe they were hoping to starve us into eating the cold and flavorless meals that we’re finally tossed before us. We had to hunt down servers for refills on drinks, to ask for our check etc as they seemed too busy somewhere out of site. The restaurant was busy but not overly so and there seemed to be enough staff that it shouldn’t have been an issue to get service. $75 for a meal that I boxed up and fed to my dogs. Go to the Mexican place down the road and skip the Oak Inn.
