After seeing the reviews for this place, I decided it would be worth a try. I skipped lunch, so I was starving and it was 3:30 after coming off the beach I called the restaurant at 3:45 and asked, was it too late to put my order in for them to make a sub before four and they were more than happy and willing and told me they will wait for me to get there. I drove up there in seven minutes and my son was handed to me and I brought it back home and it was one of the best subs I’ve ever had.

This is a great lunch spot for those who like subs or salads. The food is good quality and it’s delicious. Far better than any sub you get from Publix. If you order online you can just go pick it up when you’re ready and avoid the line. And there will be a line most of the time! The subs really are good and well made. The owner or manager is always happy and willing to help and cares that you’re happy ! It’s a small local business and they do a great job. The prices are very good for what you get. The only down side is they are closed on Sundays!

I have been going here for over 10 years. It has never been the same since the previous owners sold it. Service is terrible. You need to be prepared to wait, we waited over an hour for 1 sub and it was not extremely busy. Food is okay, not as good as before but still good. The owners are not as pleasant and personable as the previous ones either. I just wish it was like it use to be. I miss it so much!

We got a take out for lunch one day while down at Oak Island last week for vacation. The bread was exceptional, freshly made daily and oh so soft! I loved their chicken salad! It was the minced kind and was just like I like it. Also got a side of pasta salad, which was very good also. All the veggies in the pasta salad were cut up small so they didn’t over power it. Great choices, will be back on next vacation!

Sandwiches were good but seemed dry for my liking so make sure you ask for extra whatever you order if you aren’t sure. Sandwich meat was good and they gave generous portions on both the small and large sandwiches. To be honest I couldn’t finish the large and I was hungry. Place was busy so be ready to wait a little bit but overall it was a good but not great sandwich.
