This review should be a bit higher than a four; like maybe a 4.5. Not rounding up because it’s not five-stars for me. The food and cocktails are good, and with open walls on the upstairs location, there’s a nice ocean view. Bad news, of course is the ambient noise from busy car traffic.

If I could give OAK 10 stars, I would!! Wow wow wowww. Everything was bursting with incredible flavors. From cocktails, to the main course, to dessert! Seriously the best. And the staff — everyone was SO SWEET! If you are in Laguna and don’t check out this gem, you my friend are missing out. Love this place and we will for sure be back.

1st visit, From the moment we walked in the door the place was amazing! Friendly greeting from Owner Tia, to a seat with an amazing view, to immediate table service from Javier our waiter. Great start with cocktails very tasty appetizers -huge meatball & grilled octopus. Dinner included Chilean Sea-bass absolutely delicious. Chicken Parmesan crispy and a big portion, Great Burger, wedge Salad with grill shrimp outstanding. Tantalize your tastebuds. The ambiance is classy and trendy. Loved the Decor and ambience and the food was delicious. It was a little bit noisy with all the hard surfaces everywhere but everyone in the restaurant was having a great time and of course the noise level rises with that. I took a client there for a celebration dinner for the purchase of her new home and she had chosen Oak on the review from a friend of hers of the sea bass. Her friend tries bass at local restaurants and says Oak is the best. She and her son ordered the Seabass and absolutely loved it. The salmon and clam chowder were delicious and the fries we ordered as a side were great with the different sauces too.

Excellent experience! The menu is diverse and you can’t go wrong with any dish. We ordered a salmon/caviar dish which was apparently sold out and the chef personally came out to find us a substitute. I’d return for both service and food.

Came here for my birthday and had THE most amazing experience. Their staff is excellent — they made it so special — especially Brian who is just incredible!!! The food is incredible as are the drinks; we LOVED the chilaquiles, burger, and chicken & waffles. The watermelon and spicy pepper drinks were amazing. They made my birthday so great!!!! Thank you!
