Stopped in here after a trip from Lake Placid. I have not seen many deli’s in this area so I was curious. The ladies working there were helpful, friendly and attentive. Since there were a few things that I wanted to try I went with the 1/2 sandwich-1/2 salad combo. I ordered the Italian Sub (cold) and the Asian Salad. Neither was quite what I anticipated but both were fresh and delicious. If I found myself in Arcadia again, I would definitely stop in again

For those of us that have lived in and visited other areas, this is hardly a deli. The sandwiches are tasty, but a bit overpriced and way under-stuffed. Not a lot of choices for eating establishments in Arcadia, so for some it will have to do. You order at the counter and they bring it over to your table. Ours came after a short wait but one of the sandwiches was wrong. They offered to take it back and remake it but rather than wait, we said we’d eat the one brought. No offer was made to discount the sandwich, that probably would have been thrown away. Both items were good, but a far cry from a “deli” type sandwich. Pasta salad side was decent but coleslaw too sweet and watery. Doubt we’d come back. #stevensleavin

I ordered a Cuban special. I’m not sure if it was authentic Cuban because there was no pork on it. It could’ve been an Italian sub on Cuban bread and they were calling it a Cuban sandwich. Otherwise it was good and reasonably priced and speedy service and friendly as well. I will return for a sandwich if I’m in the area again but this time I’ll tell them to put pork on my Cuban!

I love this spot! I’ve been doing work in Arcadia for the past month, but drive from Bradenton. I don’t always have the option to bring lunch from home because of the drive, but this place always has me covered! The staff are always super helpful and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious every time. Awesome specials every day too, definitely check them out.

This place is so quaint. I feel like I’m in a time machine, going back to when people were friendly and unhurried and life was simple. Simple, good, cheap un-fancy food. Friendly service. Cool old diner. It’s all good! Even the weird bric-a-brac in the restroom made me smile.
