Had an amazing time here. Carter our server was freaking awesome! The food great with a few tweaks. Pasta a little cool. Chicken and shrimp very hot. The Broccoli and cheese was great. The Oakly Salmon with rice and Broccoli Rice was off the chain good. The bone in wings where great. Very hot and well cooked. The mugs for beer excellent. My only wish is for a better frozen drink too icey. My suggestion is more Puree.

The food and the servers were fantastic. Great menu choices. The rock band from Knoxville were very talented. I will go again just to enjoy the fried shrimp with mac and cheese. Highly recommended!

Oakey’s Sports Grill is unassuming from the outside, as their sign is tough to read from the road. But inside is really nice (they also have a pretty large area with outside seating). It’s a great sports bar with loads of TVs everywhere you look. They have a nice stage area for live music; the band when we were there was The Bungle O’s, who were very good and fun to listen to. They have quite a few choices for drinks (very large bar area with lots of options), and they have a nice variety on their food menu – and everything was very reasonably priced. We just had some appetizers, but they were all good. The staff were very friendly and checked back with us often. Definitely worth a try, I’d recommend Oakey’s.

I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is! When you walk in you don’t feel like you are in Oak Ridge AT ALL and it is so much higher end and tasteful than the businesses that were there before. The service was top notch and our server was attentive and explained all there was to know about the menu and drinks. There are TV’s galore and an awesome vibe for viewing sports and/or listening to live music. The patio is incredible! It is almost all turf with lots of seating, corn hole, giant jenga, and giant connect 4. Now to the food..it was AMAZING! We started with fried green tomatoes and fried okra and it was out of this world. The fried fish dinner was some of the best I’ve had! The drink selection is awesome and their craft cocktails are unlike anything you can find around here. Anyone who gives this place a bad review is crazy. I watched the owners do whatever was necessary to make things right if there were any mishaps! They’ve only been open for a week for goodness sake so there are going to be kinks to work out! But as for me and my family, we will be there often!

I’m trying different restaurants in Oak Ridge, and normally, I avoid sports bars. Sports bars just seem to have the same species of food. Oakey’s had some variation. I liked it. The bar also had a decent selection of spirits.

The folks here are fun. They have cool vibes to spare. They feel a bit understaffed or distracted or something, but when you get your food/drink…it is gooood 😉 the live shows also help the scene a whole lot.

Oakey’s has never disappointed! My coworkers and I usually come for drinks and appetizers on Thursdays and it’s a total vibe. Live music and happy hour are fantastic. The drink prices are unbeatable around town. Corn hole and many other games on the patio. Servers have always been excellent. Colby has been my favorite by a long shot!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. We were both pleasantly surprised by everything. The food, the service. The food was excellent, I forget the name but I had the burger with bacon & Bleu cheese. My wife had the pasta. Both of us enjoyed our leftovers. We will be coming back!

After hearing this place Is doing poker, we decided to try the place out. Went with a party of 7 around 7:30 on a Monday. We all ordered their “bucket” frozen drinks in mango & strawberry margaritas, simple crown & dr pep, and their Monday specials- $5 LIT. About 5-10 mins pass and our server comes back and asked us what kind of vodka or rum we wanted in our mango and strawberry drinks. In the 4 margaritas we ordered? Tequila? The bartender then came up and asked the same question. That was our first sign to get out. Took 30-40 just to get our drinks. Drinks were terrible. Our appetizers came out before our drinks. The food was honestly not the best. Ordered the Buffalo shrimp, wings (bone in), Patty melt, fish tacos, spinach dip, cheese curds, not worth it. Our group was not satisfied and even considered leaving after the drink fiasco. The server came to our table 5 times (if that) the whole 2 hours we we’re here to check on us. After getting up, we noticed our server was around a man in a different booth, maybe what caused our terrible service? Our table spent well over $400- as we always do at the other local establishments.
