The place is very hole-in-the-wall. Old and run down type. We had breakfast there because we were too late for the free breakfast at our hotel. Anyway I’m glad we went. The breakfast was delicious and our waitress was very sweet. I wasn’t crazy about the coffee but it wasn’t bad, I’m just picky about my coffee. Anyway my daughters loved their food. I got the Steak and sunny-side up eggs, and it was quite good.

These were probably the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. The tortillas were fresh made, the bacon was perfectly crisp, and the eggs were so light and fluffy they melted in my mouth. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Food was good portion is what you pay for and the staff are very polite. If your downtown living or visiting it’s a must. Get out of the tourist mode and venture to a little of San Antonio Tex-Mex home cooking. Enjoy!!!

I come down to San Antonio about once a week and this is my favorite lunch spot. You can’t beat the prices. It’s definitely a hole in the wall and that’s what makes it the best. You can tell they definitely have a lot of regulars since the waiters and waitresses seem to know most of the patrons. You will definitely not be disappointed with the service or the food. Everything is good.
